Over the years I’ve documented many cases of Democrats behaving badly while news accounts of their indiscretions neglected to identify their party affiliation as vigorously as they would had that person been a Republican, if at all. Kyle Keady is the latest and most glaring of examples….

The former Town Administrator for the Town of Shirley pleaded guilty to charges that he illegally recorded conversations and secretly photographed and videotaped his fellow town employees.

It gets worse from here.

The investigation revealed that on over a hundred occasions, the defendant illegally recorded conversations and secretly took video recordings of other town employees by using recording devices that included video cameras and a baby monitor. These devices were hidden in pens and a plant in various offices and rooms in Town Hall. Authorities also discovered that the defendant had taken a pen that contained a video camera and hid it in the ceiling directly above a bathroom stall in the women’s bathroom in Town Hall where he recorded numerous women. The investigation also revealed that on four occasions, he had broken into the home of one of the town employees.

The media wants to know why their subscription and ratings are down? Look into the selective non-disclosure of party affiliation in their reporting and you’ll see why. While I’ve been unable to verify Keady’s party affiliation, based on past experience, had he been a Republican (or even an independent), we’d have heard about it long ago and nationally.

TSN’s Dave Hodge tried to imply Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas was a “KKK” racist because he declined to participate in the White House ceremony with his Stanley Cup-winning teammates…

But when called on it, Dave Hodge did what most liberals do when caught with their foot in mouth: say they were joking and we were just too stupid to get the punchline.

President Obama’s 2012 State of the Union address again rated at an 8th grade comprehension level on the Flesch-Kincaid readability test — the third lowest score of any State of the Union address since 1934.

Now the question should be if the Address was dumbed down so the American people could understand it or Obama could approve it?

Every four years we hear activists whine about the fact there’s a real need for a third party candidate. Boys and girls, you already have one.

The one part of presidential campaigns that both Democrats and Republicans alike dread is the third party candidate. This person has more than siphoned off enough votes to sway elections however there’s one third party candidate who has the ability to dictate the narrative and move public opinion while being immune from counter attacks. That person is the media and that immunity may be wearing off as they are collectively whining about how they are now being picked on.

Republicans wince the week before a general election not knowing what “October Surprise” the media will pull out of their sleeves. We’ve had decades-old DUIs being reported mere hours before a presidential election. To this day, “forged but accurate” documents released days before a presidential election are still being defended. The third party media candidate can throw out any accusation and (unlike a Democrat or Republican) have the power to recirculate that accusation without having to spend one dollar on producing and paying to air a campaign ad.

Unlike most campaigns, this third party candidate has opposition research archived and at their disposal. They don’t have to spend a dime in donations to track down testimonials against other candidates that become the narrative for a cycle. This third party candidate can determine the site for debates, can select the moderators and pick the questions; a feat no Republican or Democrat candidate can do.

This third party candidate, knowing they will not win the election, can side with the Democrat (that IS the pattern) and allow that Democrat to sit back while the dirty work is done for him or her. The third party can pick and choose whatever talking point is beneficial to the Democrat and detrimental to the Republican.

Case in point: today Democrats and the third party candidate are demanding Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney produce his tax records for media and public scrutiny. I made the point yesterday while pre-taping an interview on Sirius’ Michael Eric Dyson radio program that we’ve all been told Barack Obama is the smartest president in American history (despite numerous gaffes glossed over). That action line was repeated during the last presidential election and as recently as last April when senior Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett said on The Joe Madison Show, “He’s almost 50 years old and he’s president of the United States and I don’t think anybody would debate his intelligence and so now we need to get serious…” responding to the request that Obama release his college transcripts.

I told Michael that if I were to say I was smarter than he, his logical retort would be to prove it. He would produce his doctorate and I’d have to produce at least the equivalent to back up my claim.

The third party insists we take their word that Obama is smarter than the rest of us, just as they demanded we accept the notion that George W. Bush was the dumbest president ever (despite the fact he has a Master’s of Business Administration). We’re constantly being told how much of a genius Democrat presidential candidate Al Gore was despite his college record being abysmal.

The third party has the power to repeat any narrative it wishes and get that narrative into every American home without spending one dollar for advertisement, in fact in some cases, we pay extra to get that narrative.

However for the first time in recent memory, a Republican candidate challenged the fairness of a third party that can pick and choose what they use as an attack vessel, when they choose to. The third party wanted no part of the Bill Clinton and John Edwards infidelities (Clinton’s should have been considered much more serious as some of his incidents occurred in a federal workplace, and rape is… rape), but became curiously concerned about the treatment of women when it came to evil Republican men like Herman Cain and now Newt Gingrich.

Someone should also ask the third party why they discard these women into oblivion (without follow up) once the damage has been done?

Gingrich, by challenging the objectivity and motives of the third party, has tapped into the simmering conservative frustration of their siding with Democrats and sabotaging Republican campaigns with immunity.

I say immunity because I can only imagine the media whining if we were to ask any of the anchors or pundits (we see or hear on a nightly basis) for their college transcripts or, heaven forbid, who they fucked around with after the Christmas party while their spouse was at home putting the kids to sleep.

While many in the media understandably think Gingrich’s recent attack on the media is just a diversionary ploy, one could also say that a media that cherry picks attacks on Republicans are also diverting on behalf of their preferred Democrat. Whether Gingrich can ride this wave to the White House is clearly unknown, but we can only speculate what presidential election outcomes might have been without the insertion of the third party candidate that doesn’t seek to win but seemingly does all it can to pick the winner.

With subscriptions plummeting and bruised journalist feelings increasing, the topic of liberals giving their personally-preferred candidate a public boost has always been an issue.

The perception of liberal bias is a problem by itself for the news media. It’s not okay to dismiss it. Conservatives who think the press is deliberately trying to help Democrats are wrong. But conservatives are right that journalism has too many liberals and not enough conservatives. It’s inconceivable that that is irrelevant.

Unfortunately perceptions haven’t changed much since, and if anything, have gotten worse.

As a New England Patriots fan, I’m not all caught up in the Tebowmania. I don’t hate Tim Tebow, but in the days leading up to this game, I consider him the enemy.

That said, I still look at him as marketing product. Consider how many players in all sports point to the sky in homage to the Lord every time they succeed on their field of battle and no one thinks twice about it. How many black players openly thank Jesus and God for their fortunes during interviews.

Now while this isn’t a race thing to us, the left is looking at last year’s Tim Tebow’s Super Bowl “Focus on the Family” anti-abortion commercial and made him an enemy for life. However, instead of pointing to the sky like everyone else, Tebow has successfully (and I believe sincerely) marketed his signature bow and has taken the nation by storm. The media’s action line of “divine intervention” helping his team is an insult to the hard work put in by the Denver Broncos.

Today’s game is going to be decided by men, not faith, and certainly not by the number one fan, God. Tim Tebow is a man just like all the others who’ll take the field tonight. He chooses to pray in public and make some tingle inside, fine.

I and many others want him to lose and badly. That doesn’t make us evil. That’s just the way it should be.

It’s unfortunate that the Bureau of Labor Statistics may have been politicized and the media may be dutifully repeating fudged numbers to protect a certain preferred candidate.

It won’t surprise anyone that as of December, the real implied unemployment rate was 11.4% (chart) – basically where it has been ever since 2009 – and at 2.9% delta to reported, represents the widest divergence to reported data since the early 1980s. And because we know this will be the next question, extending this lunacy, America will officially have no unemployed, when the Labor Force Participation rate hits 58.5%, which should be just before the presidential election.

Funny how we hear how better the economy is doing, however the people we talk to on the street say otherwise.

Maybe the media should dig up a few of the chicks this guy may have spent some of this cash on.

He’s expected to plead guilty to stealing more than $350,000 in government funds and filing false tax returns for three years. Thomas is accused of using the money for his own personal gain, such as lavish vacations, fancy cars and a motorcycle.

Again, if Thomas was a Republican, we’d know it.

However, on the website Manson set up for his failed run for city council, he self-identifies as a member of the Libertarian Party. Searching his site, I find no mention of the Tea Party, though he describes himself as a constitutional conservative who abhors public sector unions.

On his YouTube channel, I do not find Tea Party content or rhetoric, rather a toxic stew of rants about the New World Order, the New American Century, WTC conspiracy, Osama bin Laden bios, Alex Jones PrisonPlanet tripe, and the like.

Unless the appropriate pressure is put to bear, don’t look for any apologies to the Tea Party. Just know that liberals will be liberals especially when it comes to what they say or write.
