After all of Hollywood’s Iraq movies have flopped (even the Oscar-garlanded “The Hurt Locker” earned only $15 million at the box office), one studio thinks it has the following secret to success: The previous films didn’t insult the United States enough. “Green Zone,” opening Friday, is a $100 million slime job that conjures up a fantastically distorted leftist version of the war and wraps it around a frantic but preposterous action picture.

We’re supposed to cheer for include Sunni officers who shoot down helicopters carrying American soldiers sent to assassinate them.

It must be nice to create products deemed important, that continue to flop, suffer few public repercussions, and still get paid.

Don’t try this at home.

They opposed everything that led to whatever they think now is stable in Iraq.  Obama and Biden wanted to leave in defeat!  Harry Reid: “This war is lost.” These people threw the US military under the bus!  These people were doing everything they can to secure a defeat for the United States military and he has the chutzpah to go on Larry King Live and say, “This could be one of the great achievements of this administration.” Now, I know that there is rabid hatred for anything Bush in the far left of this country, and I just wonder if they even fall for this.  One of the great achievements of this administration? They don’t have an achievement, folks.  Not as you and I would measure achievements.  The Obama administration doesn’t have one thing they have done positively for this country.  I was all set to say that I think may Obama is dumber than Biden, until I heard that.

Time to check the blood pressure.

Muntazer al-Zaidi – who became a national hero in Iraq after hurling his footwear at the then US president last year – was speaking at a press conference to promote his campaign for victims of the Iraq war when a man threw a shoe at him. Zaidi ducked and the shoe hit the wall behind him. Film footage showed that a scuffle then broke out in the audience. “He stole my technique,” Zaidi said afterwards.

Not to worry, Munty. There are a lot of people who’d want to practice your technique if you would be the target.

Ranking member Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) questioned Assistant Attorney General David Kris about his remarks on the appropriateness of administering the Miranda warning to terrorist suspects captured abroad. “It is the administration’s view that there is a serious risk that courts would hold that admission of involuntary statements of the accused in military commission proceedings is unconstitutional,” Kris said in his opening statement.

“Does that infer that these individuals have constitutional rights?” McCain asked Kris.

After hearing Kerry waste a half inning of commentary during Tuesday night’s Boston Red Sox-Washington Nationals coverage (bragging about his warm contact with returning soldiers), I felt this pic needed to ressurface.

In Cairo today, Obama managed to distort both the Koran (nuthin’ “holy” about it) and the Holy Bible. (BTW, for the record, there really can only be one “holy” book. Either it’s the Koran or the Bible, but it can’t be both, because it’s God who determines what is holy, not man.) Anyway, the Bamster proceeded to cite some phrase from the Koran saying it captured what Muslims believe.

While the American left will give wowed, the radical Muslims who chant “Death to America” will never shed a tear of remorse, tolerance, and/or understanding.

They’ll see Barack Obama, offering up a sleeping target on a silver platter, and they’ll seize their opportunity when the time is right.

Debbie McLucas comes from a patriotic family – her husband and both of her sons served in the U.S. military, and her daughter is currently deployed to Iraq on her second tour of duty as a combat medic.

So when McLucas arrived at work at a Texas hospital last Friday, she was stunned to be told that the Stars and Stripes she had hung in her office in advance of Memorial Day were offensive, and that the flag had been removed.

“I got into work, I was met by my supervisor and told that there had been multiple complaints, that people found the flag very offensive and it had been taken down,” McLucas told FOXNews.com.

“I went to the office to retrieve it and found the flag wrapped around the pole, sitting in the corner on the ground. I was speechless.”

Maybe this is what those tolerant, inclusive, “For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country” progressives prefer…

The most powerful grassroots organization of the peace movement, MoveOn, remains silent as the American wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan simmer or escalate.

What was MoveOn’s explanation for abandoning the peace movement in a meeting with a president the peace movement was key to electing? According to Jason Ruben (executive director of MoveOn) and MoveOn, it was the preference of its millions of members, as ascertained by house meetings and polls.

Bullshit.

When Republicans drop bombs, MoveOn screams bloody murder. When Democrats drop bombs, they sit on their hands. When Republicans send sons and daughters to war, MoveOn is for the troops. When Democrats send more to war, MoveOn could care less because our soldiers were nothing but props to them.

MoveOn.org are a bunch of ideological hypocrites and donation whores; pure, simple, end of discussion.

Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld sent President George Bush top secret wartime memos with cover sheets that mixed Scripture and battle photos to cast the Iraq invasion as a holy Christian crusade.

Rumsfeld, not a man who wore religion on his sleeve, appeared to be trying to manipulate – or curry favor with – the Bible-quoting Bush, according to an explosive story in GQ.

Some Pentagon analysts worried that if the memo covers leaked, they would inflame the Islamic world, undercut Washington’s Arab allies and bolster those who claimed America was out to Christianize the Muslim world.

Then why report this, if not to further stomp on Rumsfeld’s damaged legacy, and further pile on President Bush. And who is leaking information about “top secret wartime memos with cover sheets”? Last I heard, that is a big time felony.

And is there a problem with Christianity inspiring freedom, considering Islam seems to inspire the opposite…?
