A pre-arranged agreement probably took place here between the reporters and interviewees, but we all know what contracts and pre-nuptial agreements are worth nowadays.

Hypothetical #1
Harry Reid made his

“light-skinned”, “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one”

comments during the 2008 presidential primaries.

Had the reporters (and I use that title intentionally) reported what they heard, that may or may not have had an effect on the outcome. Some voters might have been so disgusted with Reid, they may have taken it out on Obama’s opponents at the time, or stayed home altogether.

Hypothetical #2
Had the comments about the Edwards’ come out earlier,

What the world saw in Elizabeth: A valiant, determined, heroic every-woman. What the Edwards insiders saw: An abusive, intrusive, paranoid, condescending crazy-woman.

that may have had an effect on fundraising as people might have stopped wasting their money on John, not wanting to risk another Teresa Heinz Kerry drama, and diverted money to other candidates. Edwards may have been long gone earlier.

Hypothetical #3
Had it been revealed in a timely matter that Senator Ted Kennedy was at odds with Bill Clinton because he said of Barack Obama,

… a few years ago this guy would have been getting us coffee.

along with reports of Bill ‘ridin’ dirty’ again during the campaign, Hillary’s campaign may have been sunk early on.

Now, here’s were the media bias angle kicks in….

Remember, we heard nothing about this during the campaign.

Hypothetical #4
What if any of the insensitive, possibly racist comments were said by John McCain? Do you honestly think New York Magazine’s John Heilemann and Time Magazine’s Mark Halperin would have sat on it because they were writing a book to be published later, or would they consider incendiary quotes like the ones attributed to Harry Reid uber-newsworthy?

Had negative quotes been attributed to John McCain early on, it could’ve cleared the path for Mitt Romney. Was he robbed because of the selective omission by two well-placed reporters? The case could be made.

The problem is the ethical line that’s been crossed by Halperin and Heileman.

Had it not been for their being writers for New York Magazine and Time (two publications not particularly known for fairness to Republicans and/or conservatives), they would never have been granted that kind of access to presidential candidates to gather notes for a book.

During the campaign we heard all about the in-fighting within the McCain-Palin camp, thus the revelations in the book isn’t new news. Almost all the juicy stuff coming out now via “Game Change” is about Democrats and (under the umbrella of being book authors who apparently whored themselves) none of it came out until a year and a half AFTER the 2008 presidential election.

If anything Halperin and Heileman are guilty of double-dipping as they got paid to cover the campaign and write a book at the same time. I will give them the same benefit of the doubt I gave Harry Reid as I don’t know what’s in the hearts of any of those involved, but this sure smells like these two reporters chose what they would release, and saved the good stuff for another paying gig.

I find it very hard to believe they’d be so silent about the bombshell contents of an upcoming book if they were privy to quotes that could have sunk a Republican, but maybe that’s the cynic biased journalism has turned us into.

They say good satire has an element of truth, and this black-led Just Us Department appears to be giving certain people a pass….

Veteran Civil Rights Division attorney Christopher Coates is no longer chief of the Voting Section, according to the division’s Web site. It could not be learned whether Coates left the department entirely or transferred to another post.

Coates signed off on the controversial voter intimidation complaint against the New Black Panther Party and three of its members, filed in the waning days of the George W. Bush administration. The Obama DOJ’s decision to dismiss most of the charges in May has become a political controversy for the administration.

Let’s sum up how this looks.

A black president, a black attorney general, New Black Panthers who clearly committed voter intimidation during the election of the first black president, and the dropping of all charges against those Black Panthers.

It didn’t look good then and it looks worse today.

This is one of those moments and I relayed that incorrect information on to you.

At 10:15AM ET during America’s Newsroom on Fox News Channel, co-host Martha MacCallum reported that in a gaggle with reporters Wednesday morning White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs claimed that President Obama did not watch election results Tuesday night but rather watched an HBO special about his 2008 campaign.

A tipster contacted NewsBusters questioning that report and after having acquired a transcript of the press gaggle, we have confirmed that the Fox News report was incorrect and Gibbs did not make any such statement.

While it would be easy for me to launch on Martha MacCallum and her irritating inhale-laugh, she’s probably just a victim of an over-zealous teleprompter. One would think Fox News would be a little more careful, seeing how they’re in the very public White House crosshairs.

Based on that erroneous report, I made some disparaging remarks about the president. In context with that specific report, I retract those comments.

Since his election and the implementation of part of his vision, conservative groups have protested in public and have been labeled racists by the left. The right insisted this wasn’t about race, yet the left knew it had to be.

The left are again proven wrong.

Racism is not a factor driving conservative opposition to President Barack Obama, according to the results of focus groups conducted by Democracy Corps, a Democratic organization, released on Friday.

Rather than attributing their dislike of Obama to race, participants in the focus groups, which were a project of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, said that their disaffection was borne out of a sense that the president was orchestrating an effort to steer the country away from its “founding principles.”

Will the left stand down their tactic of calling all opposition to Obama as race-based, or will they continue on with calling all conservative dissent bigoted?

That question was a rhetorical as the answer is obvious.

It’s not about bashing Democrats, it’s not about taxes, they have no idea what the Boston tea party was about, they don’t know their history at all. This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up. That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks.
— Janeane Garofalo, Countdown, 4/16/09

In the proud tradition of liberalism, this kind of talk was not issued to inspire dialogue but to force the other side to just shut up. If you listen to the left today, they are defending the president and his agenda, not on their merits, but solely against people who just don’t like the color of his skin.

Like they should talk….

Liberals hardly have any credibility here because it must be nice to believe you can make the rules that everyone else has to live by while exempting yourself whenever convenient.

According to their rules, you can’t say anything negative about blacks in politics, that is, unless they’re not Democrats. Prominent liberals were left virtually unscathed after racially attacking Dr. Condoleezza Rice. Syndicated political cartoonists like Jeff Danzinger and Thomas Oliphant never lost their jobs, and never had to issue a mea culpa to the nation (and/or Al Sharpton). So, the umbrella of liberal compassion has its limitations.

Danzinger seemingly speaks for all white liberals with his justification (excuse) as well as the template on how they operate today on behalf of Barack Obama.

Nothing racist about it at all. Just the standard lies told by a political operative, out of her depth, who happens to be African-American. Whenever this administration is in trouble they send out Condi Rice because the press, which is mostly white and male, gives her a far easier treatment than they would a white male.
— Jeff Danzinger, Ramblings’ Journal

That’s how it’s supposed to work: send in a Barack Obama and not only the press, but the American people should stand down and give him far easier treatment than they would a white male.

But I think this justified racism on the left goes even deeper.

Jigaboos and Wannabes in Spike Lee’s “School Daze”

Despite what they say, the left doesn’t really like “black” people. They seem to prefer the “non-threatening” types and for the sake of this argument, the wannabes won.

Liberals in the entertainment business have already told us who their preference is. Look at almost all the black singers and actresses out there today.

I’m not dissing these women because most are talented, but they’re also eye candy talent agents assume the industry executives could jerk off to.

Now look at the administration. Hardly a threatening face in the bunch, then again Van Jones was dark and he’s still under the bus.

Some of these people violate (with immunity) the very rules some conservative blacks pay for daily. The administration’s light skinned blacks tended to work in white academia, seldom lived in the hood, and inter-racially married. This is more than acceptable to the Janeane Garofalos on the left, and she has their back.

There’s a light-skinned Democrat governor in Massachusetts, Jesse and Al aren’t dark, and neither is the leadership of the NAACP. Can you name me a couple of prominent dark-skinned blacks, high up within the Democrat ranks? I’m sure some can, even though I seem to be suffering from a block. Republicans don’t really have a preference based on skin color as do the progressive left.

So according to their rules, that is as of today, you can’t bash Barack Obama because to do so means your a black-hating redneck racist. Of course the president knows this is just a shallow tactic and if he didn’t condone it, he’d speak out against it. But since he’s also the preferred liberal tint, he’s just going along for the ride.

But there are perils.

To the left, racism has qualifiers. In their minds, there are times when it’s perfectly okay to be a racist. There are no apologies demanded and non given, in fact liberal racism against black Republicans is encouraged.

If you’re a dark black Republican, you’re fair game. If you think that’s overly selective, don’t forget that the left now tolerates Colin Powell.

If Barack Obama starts making life uncomfortable for the liberal elite, is there a chance their innate racism may be turned on him? This is a serious possibility. As we all know, what the press builds up, the press tears down. They’ve put everything into promoting Barack Obama’s race and made his qualifications secondary; not a good idea when the position is the President of the United States.

And let’s break it down. If liberals really gave a damn about blacks as they claim, Margaret Sanger would not be an icon and Planned Parenthood would not exist. But since she is and it does, we’re dealing with people who are using Obama and his race for political expediency, and you don’t use people you respect.

So while the left is screaming racism in his defense today, it could get really ugly should they turn on him. Notice how liberals call Republicans rednecks but not Klan members?

That would be hitting too close to home.

A California judge today tentatively scheduled a trial for Jan. 26, 2010, for a case that challenges Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president based on questions over his qualifications under the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.

The suit alleges Obama is actually a citizen of Indonesia and “possibly still citizen of Kenya, usurping the position of the president of the United States of America and the commander-in-chief.”

In the U.S. Justice Department’s motion to dismiss, attorneys didn’t address the concerns directly, but instead focused their efforts on technical procedures, suggesting the matter can’t be decided in court and that the dozens of plaintiffs cannot demonstrate they have been injured by having Obama in the Oval Office.

Maybe, but there are lots of people who may be injured by this: the people who got in everyone’s face with ridicule, the political party that blindly certified the Electoral votes, the Supreme Court that was too worried about the perception of “overturning” another election to uphold their oaths, the media that insisted that the facts weren’t worth investigating (which is their JOB), and the Congress and senators that failed to uphold the Constitution and will have to worry about legislation signed into law that suddenly may become moot.

There comes a time when you’re tired of holding it in. There comes a time when you don’t care what people will think or say. There comes a time when someone has to say what many have to be thinking.

People in this country were sold a bill of goods on Barack Obama. We were all told he was this “post racial” candidate that would bring the nation together. We were told to give the man a chance to heal the ethnic divides in this country.

The problem is that from the beginning of his presidential candidacy (up to now), Barack Obama’s campaign and administration have gone the opposite of racial conciliation. The Head Niggaz* are in charge and they’re not only an embarrassment to every self-respecting black person in America, but will close the doors for those who wish to follow him. Not because America is racist, but because her people will remember and may not be willing to go through this again.

As it would be racist to assume otherwise, we were all supposed to believe Obama when he said he never heard his pastor goddamn America, blame her for slavery and killing off the Indians, accuse her of killing innocents in Grenada, bombing black people in Panama, bombing Qaddafi’s house, Iraq, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, “and never batted an eye” in over 20 years of attending Reverend Wright’s church.

During the primary, it was Obama’s people and supporters who accused Hillary Clinton’s campaign of racism. Not because it was true, but because her campaign had momentum that needed to be stopped.

Barack Obama has a history of using technicalities to knock off opponents, thus avoiding the fair fight.

In his first race for office, seeking a state Senate seat on Chicago’s gritty South Side in 1996, Obama effectively used election rules to eliminate his Democratic competition.

Once Hillary was knocked off, he directed his supporters to push back anyone who disagreed with or doubted his “message”. Some came to this very website and others, not to engage in civil conversations about the issues, but to toss about accusations of racism just because we didn’t support Obama.

Liberals in the media, like CNN’s Rick Sanchez questioned the pride of three black men (and even felt comfortable asking them if they felt like “sellouts”) because they dared not vote for a black Democrat. Surely Barack Obama saw this, and since he chose not to discourage this brand of dialogue, it meant he probably found it rather entertaining and useful.

He sat back and watched supporters and their children sing spirituals to him. He allowed them idolize him.

Since becoming president, he and those in his administration have conducted themselves like lowlifes that just won the lottery and are flaunting their new-found wealth.

High school football coaches in sports tell their players not to celebrate too much in the end zone after a touchdown. Doing so only enrages the other team, and it’s best to act like you’ve been there before. Obviously, Barack Obama has never played organized football. He said nothing when his supporters took the streets on Election Night, celebrating in a gloated, Third World frenzy. He said nothing when George W. Bush was booed during the inauguration.

He killed a program that enabled blacks to escape failing public schools, while enrolling his daughters into one of our nation’s elite. His wife went to a food kitchen, wearing some rather ugly $500 sneakers, and to this day we’re supposed to be in awe of her couple dozen attendants.

I wonder how many black White House employees have been put out of work, just so the Obamas can say they don’t have black servants?

Obama not only bragged about having pizza flown in cross-country while people who lost jobs are on food stamps, but he flew the chef to the White House. He demanded a budget-busting stimulus bill be passed immediately because we were losing 50,000 jobs a day, then after it’s emergency passage on Capitol Hill, took a long Valentine’s Day weekend off (complete with a date night with the missus) before signing it.

Going by his math, that meant close to a quarter million people lost their jobs, but his good times and political theater was all that really mattered.

Since winning the election, he’s gone out of his way to remind us all who’s in charge. He scolds Americans who don’t see things his way. He has shown no humility since taking the oath. How many times can he tell us he’s the president?

As many times as he wants, because finally, THE MAN is black, and he wants us to make damn sure we know it.

Our fathers told us to do the best you can, and should you succeed, make sure you conduct yourself in a way that leaves the door open for others. Is America going to want to go through this again?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to see scenes of Black Panthers standing in front of polling places with clubs, intimidating whites from voting, knowing the next black attorney general will let them walk free… and he did?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want one who blindly sides with a loudmouthed professor, desiring of racial payback and a documentary deal, and falsely indict (in the court of public opinion) a good police officer and his department?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to see video of someone he appoints to the Supreme Court solely because of her gender and ethnicity, casually advocate making law from the bench?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to see a man he appoints as a czar accuse white people of deliberately polluting the black community while video surfaces of him calling political opponents “assholes”?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to see him go to foreign nations and apologize for the “sins” of America’s past? The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want someone whose first impulse as Commander-in-Chief was to abandon areas our soldiers have bled and died to liberate? The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to listen to him deny our national heritage and values?

America is NOT a Muslim nation, bra.

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want other black politicians to follow his lead and blame everyone else for their misfortunes? After blaming others, should it be standard operating procedure to blame it all on racism?

The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to accept his national band of “organizers” who go out and publicly (and physically) intimidate anyone who dares oppose his initiatives? The next time a black man runs for president, are people going to want to sit back while he attempts to pay back whites for the pain blacks have endured in the past, even though most of those whites who did the oppressing are long since dead and gone?

Granted, America’s always had race issues, but they’ve never emanated from The Oval Office.

Anyone can be accused of racism at any time. Political dissent is no longer about issues, but now about how to shut people up and the race card is one the president and his administration doesn’t leave home without.

The Obama Administration is infested with angry black folk who are driven by a desire to pay whites back for the transgressions of their ancestors. Their white liberal supporters, who voted for him not because of his thin qualifications but a sense of pity and guilt, proudly excuse the ongoing slaps in the faces of Americans (whose only crime is to want the best for our country), and reject the ideology that’s brought the world more misery and death than any other.

Millions of Africans have died from malaria just so an environmentalist could feel good about herself. Millions of the very black children Barack Obama claims to care about have died at the hands of abortion doctors who follow an elitist, eugenics philosophy that awards those of prominence with life and condemns others deemed unfit to death.

And at the root are undisciplined, vengeful black people (and the whites using and directing them) who are hell-bent in destroying all that America was. Not to make her a better place, but to punish.

The President of the United States is supposed to be a steward of the office. The Obama Administration is full of people who have contempt, racial contempt, for this nation and all that made it great.

The next time a black person runs for president, he or she may be rejected. Not because of their positions, but because the people won’t want to take a chance of putting head niggaz in charge again. It’s not fair, but what will be their frame of reference?

Barack and Michelle Obama, Eric Holder, Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice, and the liberal whites who first saw the color of their skin and ignored the content of their character.

* HNIC (head niggers in charge) was a term used back in the day, referring to black people in authority over others. Not to be confused with Hockey Night In Canada.

Yo Levi. Get a fuckin’ job.

Sarah was sad for a while. She walked around the house pouting. I had assumed she was going to go back to her job as governor, but a week or two after she got back she started talking about how nice it would be to quit and write a book or do a show and make “triple the money.” It was, to her, “not as hard.” She would blatantly say, “I want to just take this money and quit being governor.” She started to say it frequently, but she didn’t know how to do it. When she came home from work, it seemed like she was more and more stressed out.

Hmmm. “Write a book or do a show….”

Jealous?

Something tells me we’re going to see this loser well past his 20th minute of “fame”. Maybe he will do a show.

TVNewser has learned, and a CNN spokesperson confirms, that in his morning editorial meeting today, CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein asked his show producers to avoid booking talk radio hosts.

“Complex issues require world class reporting.”

Klein is quoted as saying, adding that talk radio hosts too often add to the noise, and that what they say is…

“all too predictable.”

No, CNN and liberal elites are all too predictable.

Better-than-any-of-us types like those who infest CNN are used to talking down to all of us. Anyone out there ever receive an email back from Jon Stewart or Katie Couric? How many programs on the likes of CNN invite direct interaction with the audience?

How many talkers end up in the administration?

Besides the media obviously being in-the-tank for the Obama Administration, liberals in general love to protest against the silent. When anyone pushes back, well, we all know how they get. Just ask the Speaker of the House and the President’s staff who refer to the citizenry as “angry mobs”, as well as the media who are now calling dissenters racists, all in an effort to get everyone to just shut up.

Talk radio hosts do what these liberal elitist pussies would never do: talk to the people.

Arlen Specter indiscreetly revealed to all that the presence of our royalty is purely by their good graces, and they really had better things they could be doing…

Talk radio hosts are informed and unfortunately interact with the unwashed masses people like Jonathan Klein tolerates.

For those of you Obama supporters who thought that opposition to his presidency was just a lot of fear-mongering and recitations about his desired socialism, which is now officially means “racism” (thank you Carlos Watson, MSNBC), how ya like the new American hope-and-change you kind inflicted on the rest of us?

Washington D.C. — The Project 21 black leadership network is condemning New York Times liberal columnist Paul Krugman for scurrilously pinning racist motives on critics of President Obama’s health care proposals. The group is calling upon President Obama to condemn all efforts to derail legitimate public debate, specifically including this effort to stifle debate with race-baiting tactics.

“Paul Krugman is the one with race on the brain,” Project 21 Chairman Mychal Massie charged. “Specifically, he is using race in the lowest and most repulsive declinations. He is using it because every other argument to stem the growing tide of condemnation for the proposed health care reform bill has failed. Ergo, when all else fails, parade out the race card and attempt to incite blacks into becoming the useful idiots.”

“Opposition to the proposed health care bill isn’t based on race,” Massie added. “It is based on a people who are tired of Congress and the President spitting in their faces. It is the collective resolve of a people who are tired of being tread upon. One would think a Nobel prize-winner such as Krugman could figure that out.”

Krugman’s racial comments generated outrage from many Project 21 members, including:

Joe Hicks (Los Angeles, California):
“I must have somehow missed the articles from Krugman and other liberal and leftist members of the mainstream media that were critical of the activities of ACORN – the radical, leftist group Barack Obama once represented. Somehow, their heavy-handed activities – that many argue bent the boundaries of legality – were just considered to be the organized expression of disadvantaged communities.”

Now the same shameless, clueless writers are trying to convince us that those Americans who rightfully feel threatened by government-run health care and confront Obama’s noxious scheme at public forums are somehow the acts of a ‘mob.’ Krugman reveals his bias by admitting that people are genuinely angry without bringing himself to understand exactly why they are mad. Smearing the rightful anger and concern of everyday Americans as collections of angry, old white folks – or part of the ‘birthers’ movement – shows the elitist disdain that liberal journalists such as Krugman have for democracy in action.”

“Krugman’s commentary shows he is as out of touch as many of our elected officials are with real Americans. What’s happening at town hall meetings has nothing to do with race and everything to do with concern over the rapid expansion of government.”

Americans are frustrated that letters, phone calls and e-mails to their elected representatives have had no impact on significant pieces of legislation such as cap-and-trade and stimulus spending. Americans are taking the next logical step by directly voicing their opinions to their representatives at town hall meetings.”

“I have nothing to do with the ‘birther’ issue, but I do have concerns about health care. So do the people in my parishes and in the local diner where I eat every day. Living in central Pennsylvania, these truly are the people portrayed in the Norman Rockwell painting about freedom of speech that Krugman reference in his column. To imply these people are now racists is racist in itself.

Approximately half of the U.S. population didn’t vote for Obama in the first place. Why is Krugman shocked that there is opposition to the Obama health care plan, and that people dare to voice their concern at public meetings? The Obama plan inserts government officials into end-of-life decisions for seniors and those among us with the least. That is not a race issue, that is a privacy issue. The Obama plan has given a whole new meaning to the idea of government for the people. This health plan is a bitter pill shoved down people’s throat against their will.

“Why is it when liberals want to make their points, their knee-jerk reaction is to go racial?

Paul Krugman is supposedly a journalist. Before throwing out the race card while speculating, he should give us some attributed quotes. Minus that, what he thinks is irrelevant.”

“I knew the moment Obama became a presidential candidate that anyone disagreeing with him would be called a racist, and that any opposition to his political views would be seen as racism. The left has always played the race card because it works.”

But I am nonetheless happy to see that people on the right and many in the middle are now beginning to speaking out firmly and with passion against policies they oppose. President Obama should speak out and condemn Paul Krugman racial commentary.”

Geoffrey Moore (Chicago, Illinois):
“This is not about race. It is about government control. The system is not perfect, but there is no need to have the government take over control of the entire health care system. The government has not demonstrated the ability to efficiently control costs and provide good service.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who are not up in arms about their insurance. There are people who are somewhat pleased with the coverage they have. The government getting involved will create enormous expense and waste, while creating more problems than they intend to solve.”

[T]he driving force behind the town hall mobs is probably the same cultural and racial anxiety that’s behind the “birther” movement, which denies Mr. Obama’s citizenship… And cynical political operators are exploiting that anxiety to further the economic interests of their backers.

Does this sound familiar? It should: it’s a strategy that has played a central role in American politics ever since Richard Nixon realized that he could advance Republican fortunes by appealing to the racial fears of working-class whites.

Many people hoped that last year’s election would mark the end of the “angry white voter” era in America. Indeed, voters who can be swayed by appeals to cultural and racial fear are a declining share of the electorate.

That is, until recently. However, something is spooking the very media that’s risked what little credibility they have in blindly endorsing Obama, and now by the truth finally coming out… and it’s coming very soon.

We are in possession of a written account by a well known national talk show host who details how he was prohibited to discuss the controversy of Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility as president of the United States. This signed document cites exact dates and times when he was forbidden to discuss any aspect of the birth certificate controversy, and includes direct references to the individuals responsible for such prohibitions. Further, his statement identifies the individuals who originated the orders and their positions, and confirms that failure to adhere to the order would likely end his career in that industry. He also confirms that other, less specific but more menacing threats were implied during conversations with those making the subject off limits.

Hmmm. This kind of threat tactic sounds familiar.

From multiple interviews conducted within the last eight months, we have obtained information from other sources, independent of the above, who have also been instructed to avoid any discussion of the birth certificate issue at all costs, to wit:

The account of an administrative assistant employed in New York City by a cable network news station who provided significant, detailed information of a 2008 meeting between the top network executive and four-(4) well-known news anchors. This source confirmed that she drafted the memo to the various hosts to notify them of the date, time and location of this high-level meeting at the request of the network’s top executive.

Present at this meeting, she verified that the network official issued “warnings” to the personalities “to avoid any on-air discussion of the birth place, eligibility, and news accounts of litigation compelling [Barack Hussein] Obama to produce a legitimate copy of his birth certificate.” She stated that the network executive had her arrange the conference immediately following a meeting “between [the network executive] and an attorney closely associated with candidate Obama who was acting on his behalf.”

Get the popcorn ready, folks.

This could get real ugly, real fast, and everyone from news personalities to politicians to the Supreme Court: everyone who’s ridiculed anyone who questioned Barack Obama’s legitimacy may have a lot of explaining to do, and given the damage that man has done to our country (let alone the world economy), we may not want to hear any explanations.

An attorney for Sarah Palin has delivered a letter threatening legal action against an anti-Palin blogger who was the source of a divorce rumor that the attorney for the former Alaska governor called “categorically false.”

Publication of the letter at a Web site that repeated the rumor has uncovered circumstantial evidence that the anti-Palin blogger “Gryphen” is a kindergarten teacher at an Anchorage elementary school.

The problem, thus far, seems to be that threats of legal action haven’t been followed up on. Granted, these bloggers may not have any real money, but putting a lien on future wages can be a deterrent against posting things the Immoral Minority stand behind now because it gets them attention and lets them vent their Palin hate, but slander still is slander (which is protected speech that you can be penalized for).

To Palin’s lawyer, don’t pull it if you’re not going to use it. And to Gryphen, don’t quit your day job (that is, if you’ll still have one)…
