Let me preface this by saying this is nothing personal to you, the B&R readers. In some ways you’ve been more loyal than my real family.

It takes a lot of time to maintain what I consider an obligation to share insights on the events of the day. This I do without any ulterior motives of gaining some kind of fame and fortune. Whether it be to the people who come here daily or members of a party or the citizens of a statewide district, I’ve always tried to be giving of myself while not expecting anything in return.

Professionally, this has been one the most humiliating month of my life and I have to reassess whether this is something I even want to continue doing. I’m not the type that goes through the motions and you’d be the first to correctly call me on it if I were to do so.

Thus this this the perfect time to step back, look at who I am, decide if I even like this person, and whether it’s in my best interest to do so much for others and seemingly get so little back in return.

This is beyond simply needing some time to recharge.

We’ll see what Monday brings.

Urgent Democratic vocab alert: Pelosi bans the S-word (stimulus)
Actually, it’s understandable. And actually surprising that ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) took this long. Remember way back in 2009 when D.C. Democrats were promising that the $787-billion you-know-what program was going to start you-know-whating the economy almost immediately with those shovel-ready projects that were going to keep unemployment below 8%?

Well, if we can’t use the word “stimulus” anymore (and isn’t this censorship, what the left supposedly hates most) what should we call what President Obama will surely be proposing tomorrow night?

As many of you have experienced, B&R has kinda slowed down over the last week. When checking in with our server host, I received the following response…

“I have checked and see that your account has reached the allowed resources usage on the server, which is causing your sites to load slowly now.”

Our administrator more accurately explained, “What maxed out was the CPU usage, a combination of traffic and complexity on the site.” Content rich has it’s limitations. I’ve also been looking around and I have roughly 1,300 posts with dead embeds that I’m now in the process of removing. Please bear with me while I toss out the dead weight and make B&R a better beast.

Piggy-backing on Sheila Jackson Lee’s comments, I wonder why progressives chose a black man to lead the socialist takedown of our nation? Surely white progressives could have attempted this long before the emergence of a clean, articulate black candidate for president.
