HomeMedia BiasTouré’s Racist Rant Against The GOP And Ben Carson ©2015 Black & Right March 25, 2013 Media Bias, Politics, Race 18 Comments Last Friday on MSNBC’s “The Cycle”, Touré went out of his way to show his channel just what a good “black friend” he really is. If you can even get through Touré’s competent recitation of Democrat talking points about how racist the Republican Party is in their eyes, one could rightfully argue that Touré is their Ben Carson. Touré has cleaned up his act. His hair is less nappy than before and is probably more appealing (and less threatening if that’s possible) to MSNBC’s predominantly white liberal audience. But in demeaning someone of Dr. Carson’s stature, Touré would have to at least be on some kind of common ground, correct? Just what has Touré ever done in his life that would make him able to dress down Dr. Carson from his MSNBC massah’s porch? According to Wikipedia… Touré (born Touré Neblett; March 20, 1971) is an American novelist, essayist, music journalist, cultural critic, and television personality based in New York City. He is the host of Fuse’s Hiphop Shop and On the Record and is now a co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. He was also a contributor to MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show and serves on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. Now compare that to Dr. Ben Carson… Benjamin Solomon “Ben” Carson, Sr. (born September 18, 1951) is an American neurosurgeon and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Among other surgical innovations, Carson did pioneering work on the successful separation of conjoined twins joined at the head. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States, by President George W. Bush in 2008. Granted, while Dr. Carson went to public school, Touré attended the prestigious Ivy League prep school Milton Academy (as did I because my father taught there). But it’s clear Touré’s contribution to society pales in comparison to Dr. Carson’s so all that’s left to attack is his political affiliation. Again, I wonder why people like Touré, who constantly champion the liberal cause of “choice”, feel free to denigrate anyone who chooses who they wish to associate with that differs from his? And especially after attacking the Republican Party as wanting to crush the rights of blacks to vote, Touré attacks Dr. Carson’s right to be associated with a party he personally dislikes. I would love an opportunity to ask Touré just what have Democrats done for blacks that was/is successful over the last few decades? Has education excellence improved in the black community? Has employment gone up in the black community? Has crime gone down? Has Touré ever once bitched about the fact his white friends in the Democrat Party have no problems with the disproportionate abortion of black babies? No, it would appear Touré is their real “black friend” in doing what he’s told and saying what they want him to say so he can be one of the few well-paid blacks on MSNBC. He kinda sounds like a “house nigga” but who am I to judge? But like most liberal blacks, Touré ignores the plight of his fellow blacks caused by Democrat policies and attacks those who have almost zero influence in the community. Besides calling Herman Cain a black “minstrelsy” entertainer, has Touré ever gotten permission from his white masters at MSNBC to interview and challenge Cain on his Republican positions? I can’t find the video. Has Touré ever been able to interview Allen West on his program? It doesn’t look like he was given approval for that either, which leads me to believe MSNBC doesn’t want to give Cain and West a forum to expose their audience to alternative ideas, and/or don’t believe Touré is intelligent enough to give solid counter arguments (which given his resume compared to those he attacks is probably closer to the truth). If Touré insists on issuing cheap shots against blacks who dare think in ways he doesn’t approve, that’s fine. That’s what we expect of him and MSNBC. But until then, he is MSNBC’s minstrel, dancing to their tune at their bidding, selling out his own people for a party that takes their vote and gives nothing back in return. Touré, enjoy being the Democrat’s “black friend”. standingfire I can’t watch the video, but let me break this down in simple math, Dr Carson, came from Detroit and overcame serious adversity to graduate from one of the most prestigous medical schools in the world, all of this while torre or whatever his name is, was still urininating in his pants. The fact that he has zero credibility amongst thinking people just shows that his job is a HANDOUT. Yes I am a conservative, I am an american, I am educated past the 8th grade, so are my parents both Phd’s , and some of my grandparents. Mr whatever his name is basically a far left wing mouth piece with less than zero credibility in my eyes. Pingback: Opinion | theReadList() knuckledragginrightwingnutjob Ben Carson has had many people’s respect since “Gifted Hands” came out in 1990, you know, back when Toure’ was just a teenager–I mean literally, not just mentally…. http://twitter.com/smallbizzman W Randall In 3 minutes and 21 seconds this a$$wipe spewed just about every BS liberal racist lie there is. He calls just about any conservative black an Uncle Tom. I’d say if Todo’ actually read Harriet Beecher Stowe’s “Uncle Toms Cabin” he might see that the original Uncle Tom has been described as Christlike also Morally Strong, Physically Strong and an Inspiration. (“Rescuing the Real Uncle Tom – By DAVID S. REYNOLDS”) I’d say that describes Dr. Carson pretty. Sandra Arnold Someone should start a petition to convince MSNBC that it would be in their best interest for Toure to interview Dr. Ben Carson… http://www.facebook.com/kelly.s.bailey1 Kelly Steinmetz Bailey The voice of ignorance! Hengest33 So according to this twit all the white conservatives are bending over backwards, hoping to one day vote a black guy in as president just to prove to him that they aren’t racist? Hmmm, I have my doubts, but what do I know, I’m a white Canadian who obviously isn’t in touch with my inner colonizer/racist. He states that he doesn’t feel cared about by the Republicans. If he thinks he is being cared about by the Democrats than I believe he is confusing being cared about, with being pandered to. http://www.facebook.com/jean.larson.5 Jean Larson He comes across as stupid, arrogant, self-absorbed, ignorant, disrespectful, rude, and glaringly racist. He can’t even imagine judging someone based on their real self. What a shallow, vapid, garbage-spewing ignoramus. I feel physically sick after listening to the entire video. GoodMojo1 I couldn’t finish Toure’s bullshit. No, I must push on. Toure’ is, at best , a font of unserious ideas, At worst, he is among the most virulent racists on the public scene today. Far from being, “The Lefts’ Benjamin Carson”, he’s more accurately just the lastest incarnation of the Jackson/Sharpton monster. If (we) black people want friends, the GOP should be somewhere on the list after we black people begin to act “friendly” towards ourselves. “Voter suppression”: Get a fucking photo ID. If you are not competent to arrange proper ID for yourself, you should not vote. “Affirmative Action”: Is anyone on the left interested in actually establishing equality of capability within the Black community, thus negating the desire for false and cosmetic elevations? A few generations of overall good choices will be required to get there. Who among us will demand (we) embrace our responsibility to make those choices? “Takers”: If takers don’t want to be recognized or called out, don’t be takers!. It’s one thing to find oneself on the public dole due to a series of life events, and to try your level best to get back to self-supporting status; but quite another to enjoy benefits at the expense of others and act as if they are owed. By the way, Toure’ and his ilk are largely responsible for any perception that this is an entitlement among a majority of Blacks. Stop producing children out of wedlock! We are blessed with the power of choice. Use it responsibly. Educate yourselves! You are less likely to maximize your capabilities, if you can’t finish school. Build real pride through accomplishments, instead of clinging to false pride built on a series substandard behaviors. holly I love faux anger. It is my favorite emotion. Toure is a tool. Or as Biden might say… an articulate, bright, and clean tool. Palmetto Thanks for the laugh, Holly. I needed that to stop my ears from bleeding after I listened to what he said. Pingback: Quote Of The Day | Black & Right() Pingback: Proper Use of the Race Card | The Black Sphere() Igor Just another Libtard, Bob, full of sound and fury and intellectually vapid. Oh, and Toure? I would have voted for any one of the people you mentioned running for office because they were CONSERVATIVE, not Black. YOU’RE the racist, bub. http://twitter.com/QuikHit Quik J Hit Excellent post. Tallyman He’s his White MSNBC Masters “combined house boy and trained poodle.” While compassion is cheaply purchased, accomplishments come from hard effort and/or intellect. His yelping is not an argument for his Masters’ policies, only noise covering up for his stupidity. He’s a good “house boy and poodle,” who hopes his yelping at his Masters’ antagonists will be rewarded with treats. Here boy; roll over; fetch; try to bark like a big dog.. It’s a smarter poodle who gets fed in the Manor House. Igor Man, that was weird! when I played back the audio of Mr. Toure, all I heard was yip yip yip snarl yap yap drool drool. That’s absolutely amazing how you analyzed that, Tallyman!! ;P koala Toure is paid well to help orchestrate the white liberal takeover.
