We’re fucked. koala Blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda. He could be a Presbyterian minister, I’m about to fall asleep. Alphozo Rachael is a better man for the job. http://www.pjtv.com/s/GEYTINRX truevoice4real When the GOP stops practicing racism …they may get some support in minority communities…. http://www.black-and-right.com/ Bob Parks Would you like to share with us some documented examples of GOP racism…? truevoice4real http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/12814048-ohio-republican-admits-voter-suppression-aimed-at-african-americans http://thinkprogress.org/election/2012/10/05/969971/tea-party-voter-suppression-group-under-investigation-for-possible-criminal-conspiracy/ http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/06/25/1103126/-Pennsylvania-Republican-admits-voter-suppression-is-all-about-electing-Mitt-Romney# http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2012/11/26/1234931/walker-clerks-edr/ http://www.salon.com/2012/02/09/cpac_welcomes_white_nationalists/ ” Ken Barnes a Black Republican activist from Sacramento who served on the California Republican Party Executive Committee – “Last year alone, I donated more than 400 hours of my time to the Republican Party and made financial contributions to a number of Republican candidates. As of late, however, when I look at myself in the mirror there is one question which perplexes me: Can I, in good conscience, remain affiliated with an organization whose message purveyors of racism and bigotry find attractive? Over the past two years, we have seen Republicans use long-held racist imagery in portrayals of Obama. The president has been depicted as a communist witch doctor, a man inclined to plant watermelons on the White House lawn, and we watched in disbelief as his face was placed on an “Obama Buck Food Stamp” along with stereotyped pictures of fried chicken, barbecue ribs, Kool-Aid and the obligatory watermelon. What does any of this have to do with public policy or conservative values? Here is a man who excelled academically at the finest schools in the world, has a wonderful in-tact family, worked hard and rose to become president of the United States. Yet in spite of his accomplishments, the president is still labeled an illegitimate, socialist, African witch doctor and has his face superimposed on a chimpanzee..” koala You might be a racist and not know it. Most all of conservatives know that black people are just as capable and intelligent as everyone else. Left-wing extremist websites that feature a Republican saying that id requirements are intended to suppress black voters is laughable. Your complaint about our president being depicted in such deragatory manners is hypocritical. Same, and worse, was done to Bush. Our president does not need to be coddled and protected from public commentary. If he is as capable as claimed he need not be protected as if he were a retarded, disabled or challenged being. Treating him as if he is one is offensive. The academic claims are unproven. His accomplisments [?] are what? Nobel Prize for what? Did he save us from the second great depression? I don’t gather that from the numbers I have seen. His only claim to fame is the healthcare bill which is nothing more than another nail in the American economy’s coffin. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=6SRVfvQXyWOALM&tbnid=-Jnvh-JsoGZUFM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.allvoices.com%2Fcontributed-news%2F8808666%2Fimage%2F77875842-george-bush-depicted-as-a-chimpanzee&ei=omoVUdXINZDO9ASmuIDYBg&bvm=bv.42080656,d.eWU&psig=AFQjCNH-3vWAC47G-dmxn1uSmawE5Ky4yQ&ust=1360444372660349 GoodMojo1 Am I the only one who thinks he presents as a little “goofy”? Igor Time to give the Elephant-brained party the old heave-ho. Let’s start with Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer… aelfheld Anyone up for resurrecting the Federalist Party? http://twitter.com/GrenadiAdrian Adrian Mason *Sigh* Not only do they NOT get it, they don’t WANT to get it. If conservatives of color want the message to get out, time to do it ourselves. This is ridiculous.
