    Gore, the Divinity student, has, as a self-anointed god, exempted himself from the taxes he adores.

    Cable is sweatin’ bullets right about now, with Intel’s announcement that you don’t have to be locked into a smorgasboard of channels, but can “have it YOUR way”.

    The Sandy aid package was over 60% pork.  For once Bonehead did something RIGHT, but I still want to show him the door.

    Americans of Asian descent account for under 5% of the population. It is difficult to describe diversity as anything other than a diversity of individuals. The Left-wing opportunists are learning morality the hard way.

    In any case, the issue is Democratic (and democratic) leverage, and the Americans of Asian descent do not have the numbers and are not nearly as emotionally appealing as other minority groups.

    Intel would be bringing exactly what people want from cable — a bundle that is of your own choosing.  Forty channels would work perfectly for my household and it would still include all the sports programming my husband could possibly want.  Bring it on!!

    And what is their ‘fair share’? Everyone seems to think there is definitely such a thing (I suppose I do, too), but no one seems to have a metric to determine what it might be for any ‘class’ of people, let alone any individual.

    I will gladly pay for being able to choose my cable channels, rather than having them, particularly the liberal ones, forced on me.

    If you were king, and I thank my personal God you’re not, Mr. Obama, the rich would never be paying their fair share, even if taxed at 100%.

    You taxed gasoline so much that people couldn’t afford it, and now that they’ve found a way around using so much, you want to tax them for not using so much.

    The concept of taxes on gasoline and diesel fuel is one of the fairest taxes conceived.  Of course, every little embryo changes a lot from conception to maturity, especially when the bastards writing the law get finished (which is never) tinkering with the operation of the law.
    In a perfect world we would support a highway system based sole upon user fees. So now comes the problem of having the Pious owners pay for the right to drive on the highways. If the alternative fee comes in too low then the hybrid and plug-ins are getting a subsidy. Can we just settle on toll road for all with your E-pass or other technology keeping track of the mileage. Mileage x weight = fee seems simple and fair.
    Of course, simplicity and fairness are not about to happen. Oh well, I’m still wasting my time writing about such things.

    OK, so now Johnny Boy will insist on have his team in the room and the Dems can have their teams.

    Then the GOP teams will discuss their plans, the Dems will not have a plan, Barry will call the press in and save a front row seat for Paul Ryan and anyone else that wants to be shredded without the opportunity to rebut except after the MSM have shut off their cameras and left the room.

    Wow, what a strategy!  How about taking the Joe Wilson approach?
