When are the Lexus “December to Remember” ads going to go away? I’d be willing to bet very few of us know anyone who’s received a Lexus with a bow on it for Christmas. While they say it’s not the gift but the thought behind it, if you got a Lexus from your significant other, whatever you got him or her for Christmas will probably suck in comparison.

    The trick would be to find out beforehand and get them something of equal or greater value.  IF you’re rich.  Otherwise, don’t bother…

    Who has to pickup the payments? What if the color isn’t liked? The ads are to create the thought of a Lexus as a present to yourself at Christmastime.

    Bob, that only exists among those who somehow seem to think that gift giving is supposed to be reciprocal and equal.  The very holiday in the subject is one where we celebrate the freely given GRACE of God, a gift that we cannot reciprocate in any way at all.  Besides that, anyone who would be unaware that their significant other would be able to purchase a Lexus as a gift has got much bigger problems with that relationship, I would think.

    I have no worries about my husband enjoying his Christmas present.
