Blacks have been in that seat and nothing’s been done for decades to thank them for their loyalty (and here’s the dirty little secret)… They want to preserve the current system, which works great for Democrats. They don’t do anything to fix the problem, so they don’t get saddled with any of the negative pushback they might get if they took action and Republicans used it against them. The GOP gets the blame for being “obstructionist.” Labor is happy. Latinos are duped. All is good. While they may be in anticipation of having their issues addressed as a quid pro quo for their 2012 vote, Latinos are in for a rude awakening. There are reasons which motivate people to leave their homes and migrate long distances to a strange land. While treating symptoms is profitable, the causes must be addressed, both abroad and at home. There are reasons which motivate people to escape reality through psychotropic drug induced distortions of reality. There are reasons to rule on the abdication of personal responsibility while simultaneously rewarding dysfunctional behavior. There is an underlying theme throughout. The Machine Okay, but I say that many of those reasons are lacking in reason… Tallyman Their stratified origin society had no hope. Their destination has perceived hope in freedom to succeed or just a free ride on the government dole. Their origin had either a socialist/Marxist system which keeps everyone but the ruling elite equal, or a system with outcomes predetermined by birthrights. A brave new world with freedom is hope to replace despair.. . n.n The shining city on a hill. It’s unfortunate that even here, the limitations imposed by reality are inviolable.
