Every four years, celebrities have their traditional hissy fits and threaten to deny us their presence and move to another country should a Republican be elected president. However they very seldom make good on their promise. Be it a matter of self-expression due to the results of the election or a serious movement, some conservatives want out of the United States and liberals are mocking them, as usual.
Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported.
Let us not forget, besides the fact that dozens of Obama supporters threatened to riot if their candidate lost (and even went as far as threatening to kill Mitt Romney), some of them also threatened to leave the country.
The problem is, as with many Obama supporters, they’d expect us to pay for it.
