One would think the professional writers at the Associated Press (and the media in general) would have boned-up on the hazards of selective editing from the whole NBC-Zimmerman-911 call incident. With that, either AP writer Kyle Hightower is fucking stupid, as are the editors that let his latest fly, or they’re doing their best to “make a difference”….
Two years ago, after a black homeless man was beaten by the son of a Sanford policeman, passions soon cooled. The assailant, Justin Collison, initially wasn’t charged but eventually was arrested after footage of the episode went viral on YouTube. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and received probation.
Strangely omitted from that piece was the name of the man whose efforts led to the arrest of the one who committed the assault: George Zimmerman.
And they wonder why no one trusts the media and rely on bloggers to get at the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
