While organized labor squanders union dues to elect Democrats, their efforts are being torn apart from within.
After the White House blocked the (Keystone XL) pipeline in January, Laborers union president Terry O’Sullivan said he was “repulsed by some of our supposed brothers and sisters lining up with job killers like the Sierra Club and the Natural Resources Defense Council to destroy the lives of working men and women.”
O’Sullivan was livid that unions whose members had no jobs to gain or lose from the project would make their opposition public while construction unions struggling with 17 percent unemployment in the industry are desperate for any jobs.
Confiscated union money being used against the interests of brother and sister union members. This will be fun to watch.
