    Again, basically what it shows is that European leaders can’t deny what everyone sees as obvious: That everything undertaken so far is destroying the Greek economy, and that further reforms will only make it worse.

    And our Ear Leader wants us to be more like Europe.  Need I say more?

    Gleick/Heartland – I just love the ridiculous degree of justification that the warmies use to excuse the theft and release of the authentic docs, and most of all the creation of the fake memo. “But it’s true, even though it’s fake,” they say. Well, no it isn’t true at all. There are a few factual items taken from the other docs, but the memo isn’t “true”, even in the warped sense of Gorebull warming. The comments to that story were just INSANE!

    Gay group – … what Uncle Rick said. The attempt at equating to civil rights is really getting old.

    Obama superPAC – nope, he’s not going to use a super-PAC because he so strongly disagrees with the ruling… oh, wait. Poor zerO, he can’t seem to get enough money. The fact that he far outstripped the GOP funding in 2008 seems to have been overlooked; as is the likelihood that he will again. Now that he’s opened the superPAC, his bundlers can really get rolling hitting up the Saudis and Egyptians and Soros to get really BIG donations. He wouldn’t want a little thing like principle to stand in the way of “progress”.

    Lunchroom boycott – So the whole student body AND teachers get free lunch at the trough of federal money. And they’re whining about the menu?! I guess those kids have been sucked in to the commercials on Nick and Nick Jr. that features Michelle Obama beating her drum. How about they just work through lunch, don’t eat; let breakfast and dinner suffice. Or change the menu to rice and beans with water to drink. Then they might gain an appreciation for what they get… or not. I suppose it’s the whole “leftist-in-making” that’s causing this.

    Babeau – ok so, he’s gay… so what. That doesn’t invalidate his politically conservative view. This is more of the same collectivist BS, just like Bob pointed out yesterday with the Dems and the black communities. I.e. you are part of our group, therefore you must adhere to the standard, or risk being labeled a heretic, and summarily excommunicated (executed?). You know that makes me think of another “ideology”, islam, no questions allowed… or, to quote Achmed the Dead Terrorist, “I keel you!”

    Road Island teen – another individual ‘offense’ taken out on an entire community and multiple generations. This “freedom from religion” business is really getting old, too. Using lies to manipulate the law in order to oppress those who wish to exercise their 1st amendment rights.

    Porn and Condoms – Does it really matter to viewers if they’re using condoms? I suppose they know their customer base as well as any industry. I’m not sure if I’d care one way or another…. I wonder if I should look into this… yeah, I’m sure the wife would buy, “but Honey, it’s for research purposes.”

    There is an old saying that applies to the Greek drama: “Don’t throw good money after bad”.

    Greece is broke and needs to go through the default process.  The biggest story is the huge amount of CDS (Credit Default Swaps) which are contracts (think insurance) guaranteeing the bonds.  Most of these are issued by banks.  If the central bankers weren’t bullying the bond holders to take a “voluntary 53% cut” (while a big gun was pointed at their heads) the banks (mostly European but others, including US) would be on the hook for over $150B in losses that could slam the entire banking system.

    So the current plan is to kick the problem into the future until the economies are healthier.  In an era where more people understand the nature of problems such as these, the pols count on a bunch of uneducated fools to keep them in office.

    It is not strictly about homosexual behavior. This is merely one of many foils they use to marginalize and eviscerate their competing interests through appeals to people’s base desires. They offer promises of instant gratification, but they cannot escape their eugenic motivations. This, as everything else, is simply a means to an end. They will vacillate from one extreme to another as their position permits. That is their historical modus operandi.
