    This is exactly why so many conservatives — who outnumber liberals 2-1, remember, and outnumber ‘moderates’ more than 20-1 — are sick to death of the GOP. This senator needs to review the polling figures for all the presidential elections since 1972. When the GOP candidate was a ‘moderate’ — Ford, Bush in ’92, Dole, Bush in 2000 and 2004 and McCain — lots of them stayed home.

    The last time Christians, but specifically Catholics, united in common cause, they repelled an invasion of their homelands by Islamic imperialists, their Muslims hordes, and slaves. The same ideology which motivated the Muslims is the basis for the contemporary “liberal”/”progressive” movements.

    That said, the Catholics have been part of the problem. They need to get their house in order and reaffirm the foundational principles of their faith and religion.

    The TEA Party was principally composed of classical liberals, that is to say primarily fiscal conservatives. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, they were cross-classified as social conservatives in order to marginalize their message, since, as we know, the so-called “social” issues are a taboo subject, and not discussessed in polite company, right? Anyway, thanks to the intolerance of liberals and progressives, and now Obama, the TEA Party appears to have a gained a new ally. Notice who is present at the rally?

    The so-called “social” issues are not social issues at all. They are concerned with the two objective orders which are readily observable in our world: natural and enlightened (i.e. conscious). The first is objective by virtue of appealing to our senses and consistent within a limited frame of reference. The second is objective by virtue of a near universal consensus which accepts it as axiomatic or Creator-endowed.

    The last time Christians, and specifically Catholics, united in common cause, they repelled a full-scale invasion of their homelands by imperial Islam and its Muslim hordes. If the present alliance holds, the resurrection of left-wing imperialism and its contemporary hordes — dreamers of instant gratification — will be similarly repelled and driven into obscurity, yet again.

    Speaking of the Church. If they desire to retain credibility, then it’s time for them to clean house. They are being corrupted by lack of internal accountability and by associatation with individuals who reject their foundational principles. Their deference of responsibilities to secular authoritarian interests has also not helped their standing.

    And the “atheists” came tumbling after. The problem with atheism is that it has become principally anti-theist. Until they acknowledge what they know, don’t know, and are incapable of knowing, then their denial of a selective objective faith will and should continue to marginalize them. It would seem paradoxical that individuals who defer to a divine God for the post-mortem would actually have a firmer grasp of reality and an objective faith during their lives; but, it’s not once you recognize the former’s deference to alphas or mortal gods, dreams of instant gratification (and the corruption it sponsors), and, of course, the human ego which is capable of discerning creative patterns from whole cloth (or limited, circumstantial evidence). To regain standing they need to acknowledge and reject their faith in a selective reality. Unfortunately, that admission would neutralize their most potent tactics against their principal competing interests, Christians.

    I would advise judging faith by the principles it engenders.

    This is only incidentally concerned with social conservatism. This is principally concerned with evolutionary fitness. Whether society should normalize, tolerate, or reject deviant behaviors. This is also not concerned with individuals rights, but with voluntary behaviors they engage in, which offer no value to either society or humanity.

    While I am disappointed Christie emphasized the incidental features of his recent judicial appointees, this latest action to reassert nature’s standing in human affairs is worth noting.

    The atheists, without proof, are believers in no god, who ridicule the belief of others in god.    Worse still, most atheists profess a belief in moral value systems which they believe are somehow universally (un-divinely) validated.   Atheists are ready to believe in Marxism, class struggle and an eventual communist utopia, with even less proof than offered by most religions.    They even fall prey to Uebermensch (Superman) beliefs and are seeking such a man/god-substitute(s) to lead humanity and have followed Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and the like based on their beliefs.  And how stupid are any of them for believing in Obama and his great intellect, when the reverse is obvious to all except true believers?

      There are some that adhere to virtuous principles; although, they have no capacity to distinguish between individual conception and cultural influence. These individuals are part of the solution, and yet they have an enduring and visceral reaction to individuals who defer to a divine God for their living order and adjudication in their post-mortem.

      Certainly, they have historical cause to be critical, and yet their skepticism is selective, even to the exclusion of judging their own faith, which undermines their credibility. They would do well to correct their own extravagant and selective notions of an objective faith. It would service us all well to judge each faith by the principles it engenders.

      Ostensibly, there is a class of people, including Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc., who defer to alphas or mortal gods in order to reap the rewards of instant gratification. Their faith is selective, they are equivocators. This is presumably because they are uncertain that their individual conscience will be fairly judged, and are in any case impatient to receive their reward.

    The Obama Snake-oil was touted to cure Hillaryitis, Bushitis, racism, negativity, malaise, and enable all to joyously join in a “New Morning in America” cum-by-ah prayer breakfast.     But that formulation of Snake-oil cured nothing and instead of attending the the cum-by-ah breakfast, most were seeking a laxative.  But a new improved Snake-oil reformulated by Dr. Axelrod, will again be hawked.   Improved Obama Snake-oil for a “better morning after.”
