Thought Of The Day

Taking the morning off to conduct some business at one of our fine governmental institutions and upon visiting one, a certain thought often comes to mind.

Have you noticed that upon entering, you’re often told by various means what you can’t bring in with you: food, drink, cell phones, lighters, etc.? We get wanded while lawyers and other exempted persons waltz on through security?

The very general public whose confiscated tax dollars pay the upkeep of the building, the salaries of the police officers, clerks, and other government personnel who could care if you even exist, are the ones routinely inconvenienced?

  1. Tallyman says:

Please read before passing security:        Big Sis loves you and protects you.  Big Sis provides jobs for these protectors who search you for your own protection.   Those lawyers allowed past without inspection are “officers of My courts” and deserve your utmost respect.  Because of Big Sis’s love for you, kowtowing is not now being required.   Big Sis protects you from having to soil your clothing by prostrating yourselves before Big Sis’s loyal valued servants (GS level 5 and above).   Please return Big Sis’s love by accurately reporting all your income and promptly returning to Big Sis 60% of your earned dollars which Big Sis’s servants print for your use.   By the grace of Big Sis you survive.

What can be more true with each passing day than this quote?

    ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL
BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS.

    George Orwell, Animal Farm (1945)

Do kids even have to read Animal Farm in school any more?
