Video Of The Day

Probably no clearer example of the arrogance of the educator class and how they look down at their customers: parents

  1. IT Nerd says:

So, by her logic the test scores of American kids should be far superior than kids of other countries because our teachers know whats best.

  2. Uncle Rick says:

If the “educators” know what’s best, then why are their results so sorry? The home-schoolers — none of whom have education degrees and few of whom have even been to college — consistently out-perform the professionals.

This ain’t nuclear physics. It ain’t even rocket science, which is a lot easier than nuclear physics.

    • Igor says:

You’re correct. If they “know what is best”, then the results should show.  Just the opposite is true (and measured!).

And, rocket science IS easier than Nuclear physics.  Been there, gone through both courses.  Hated the math.

This pious lady is clearly of the “we-know-what’s-best-for-your-children” and “we-know-how-to-spend-your-money-better-than-you-do” mentality. The video is short (:52) but it didn’t take me even that long to figure out this is not someone I want teaching my children (I have 4). If there was any doubt before about why our public schools are in trouble, this video should remover it.

I know many people who were home-schooled as kids and who are now doctors, lawyers, accountants, nurses, teachers and more. As UR points out, numerous studies over the years have shown home schooled pupils often do better on standardized tests than public-schooled pupils in many, if not all, subjects.

I’m going to go out on a limb and surmise that in 2008 . . . . . this numbskull voted for Obama.

  4. The Machine says:

They tried that crap on us back when.

With several doctorates between us, we pulled ‘em out and homeschooled.

  5. n.n says:

She is right, but for the wrong reasons. It is of no value and is, in fact, counterproductive, to support policies which promote converged migration or immigration. The competition in a market should ensure each school provides a superior product. It should not be difficult to identify causal factors which prevent this outcome.

None if this will change as long as Progressive Corruption is official policy.

I hope she has not reproduced. I pity her offspring.
