Career politicians were never envisioned by the founders. We the voters need to end this cycle of corruption and vote the bums and thieves out of office. Then, we need federal term limits for all elected offices and an absolute cap on the number of “staff” members for each one. Having 40 or 50 staff members on the dole per congressman is absurd and a waste of taxpayer money. We need to place limits on these bastards now.
“Citizens United” diluted the influence of special interests by expanding their participation. Previously, there was a select class of special interests which marginalized the citizens’ votes, including: unions, both public and private; foreign interests; non-profit businesses, media outlets, etc. This was especially evident with Obama’s campaign in 2008, where those special interests ran amuck.

Like rats in a maze. What, exactly, do they teach in our schools? There is a progressive dysfunction in our society.

Heilemann is either ignorant, prejudiced, or both. The principal issue concerning Blacks was assignment of dignity. The principal issue concerning couplets is whether a deviant behavior which offers no value to humanity or society should be rejected, tolerated, or normalized.
In any case, if the behavior is normalized, then there is no reason to retain the institution of marriage. There is nothing particularly special about physical intercourse, other than its biological design in procreation. The progressive philosophy would then dictate that all relationships be afforded equal merit, not just homosexual. Their selective objectivity is unbecoming their purported “progressive” declaration. They just may have an ulterior motive. Perhaps to exploit a “minority” for leverage over their competing interests.

Does contraception serve to promote the general Welfare? There is no legitimate reason to employ involuntary exploitation (e.g. redistributive change) in order to fund a couple’s desire for personal gratification. This is an example of a regressive policy, which has contributed to progressive corruption of individuals and society. The effort to denigrate individual dignity continues.
