Boneheads Of The Day

1000 Days Later
What is so special about April 29, 2009? It’s the last time Congress passed a budget. 1000 days later, we are still operating without any plan. With President Obama in the White House, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi had the power to implement any budget they chose. Unfortunately, they punted on their responsibilities….

Seeing how Harry Reid refuses to pass a budget through the Senate, I wonder who will be blamed during the State of the Union address THIS time?

Who will be blamed?  The ‘Pubs, natch!

And the linguini-spined Party of Wusses will not scream to the high heavens that they DID pass House budgets, which Dingy Harry promptly sat upon.

      100%, Igor!

Where else can such incompetence and corruption slide, without risking unemployment, or prison?

I’d be curious to know what brand of bottled water they’re drinking and how much it cost us – I’m going out on a limb & guessing it didn’t come from Wal-Mart.

No budget in 1000 days, yet there they are – seated at a white-clothed dinner table. What are they waiting for, their lessers to serve up a fabulous meal?

Isn’t it law that Congress pass a budget? State and local governments are required by law to do so. Why hasn’t someone filed a lawsuit? Congress is not doing its job, and yet, Obama continues to spend money at exponential & unsustainable rates. They are not our rulers – they are ELECTED public servants who are supposed to be representing us. Where’s the outrage??? Go immediately to your window, open it, stick your head out and yell, “I’m mad as hell & I’m not going to take it anymore!” Now bring your head back in, close the window and ask yourself, “Are you better off now than you were 4 trillion dollars ago?”

Unfortunately, “He who has the Gold makes the Rules” applies in this case.  They passed a “law” that said the budget was considered “as read” or some such legalistic tactic.  Dirty as hell, but what do you expect when the ‘Pubs are unwilling to shut down the Gubmint until they start playing BY THE RULES?!?!

How do they go on vacations without a budget? My wife would never let me do that….
