Quote Of The Day

Instead of listening to pencil pushers and media pundits, you need to get the perspective of someone who’s been there…

I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah.

I don’t recall that either.

I like how he threw in…”conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.”

    Allen West rocks!

When I think of that video (Which actually, I haven’t seen yet), I only wish one of our men needed to take a dump.

Thank you…that makes THREE of us wondering the same dang thing.

Add to that the fact that there’s such a disconnect when it comes to human rights, how they treat women, how they treat their prisoners…it just boggles the mind how serial-visioned these folks can be (specifically over on HuffingPaint Post–they call the dead bodies “Freedom Fighters”! It sickens me!).

Bill Clinton sexually harasses women, it gets a pass. Islamophiles have not trouble whatsoever with female genital mutilation, women being beaten and stoned, honour killings, teenaged girls getting their faces splashed with acid, and other atrocities.

Yet let a soldier return nasty behaviour on a corpse, and we’ve gone too far. “Respect for the dead” and all that.

Too bad that “respect” only seems to be extended toward dead terrorists who throw their miserable lives away in the hopes they’ll make it to some paradise so they can spend an eternity in sin and inequity.

If he ever runs for president I am voting for him.

My feelings exactly. I have emailed & even phoned him once to tell him we need him to run for POTUS. He is committed to do what he told the people in his Florida District he would do. He won’t abandon them to to run for POTUS. He may at a later time, but I am afraid that may be too late to save our Republic. He is the only one that recognizes the danger we are faced with by stealth Islamification being implemented by the $heethead in DC. West is not afraid to say what he thinks regardless of PC bull  shit pandering to anyone. He calls a skunk a skunk & doesn’t care if it offends Liberals or not (some Liberals even smell like skunks).  We now have a Commander-in-thief, while what we really need is a Commander-in-Chief.

I had the same impression of Palin, who, as I recall, has been correct on every position she has taken; but, of the candidates, Gingrich has shown the most courage.

Occasionally, West will say something that I wish he hadn’t said, but this time he hit the nail on the head.

Such as??  *I* personally haven’t heard him utter anything stupid or misleading.  Got link?

He’s been my fave for about 5 years now.  Actually, it goes farther back than that, when I first heard about his interrogation techniques in Blackfive.  I followed him very closely after that and even contributed to his campaign.  He’s a tremendous individual, I wish he’d run for POTUS.  I’ve e-mailed him and e-mailed him, but it hasn’t worked yet…  Wait until 2016……………

Allen West just jumped to the top of my fantasy vice-presidential candidate list!

Though I’d hate to see him tarnish himself through association with Mitt, it would sure make voting for the Republican ticket a lot more palatable.

Once he proves his mettle in the public sector, he should consider running for president.
