Bullshit Quote Of The Year

Once Bill Clinton declared oral sex not “sex”, no school bus in the nation has been safe since. Once the attorney general came up with a legalese definition of lying, people will be forever able to bullshit their way out of anything.

Well, if you want to have this legal conversation, it all has to do with your state of mind and whether or not you had the requisite intent to come up with something that would be considered perjury or a lie.
Eric Holder to Rep. James Sensenbrenner, House Judiciary Committee

It’s quite clear the Obama Administration has distanced itself from the Clintons. “I don’t recall” would’ve been much less insulting to our intelligence.

  1. Tallyman says:

To prove his assertions, Holder would have to take the stand in a criminal trial and testify about his intent and his incompetence and/or mental defect as AG. Holder would use the affirmative (meaning it’s his burden to prove it’s true and not the government’s burden to prove it’s not) defense from TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 1 > § 17 Insanity defense
    (a) Affirmative Defense.— It is an affirmative defense to a prosecution under any Federal statute that, at the time of the commission of the acts constituting the offense, the defendant, as a result of a severe mental disease or defect, was unable to appreciate the nature and quality or the wrongfulness of his acts. Mental disease or defect does not otherwise constitute a defense.
    (b) Burden of Proof.— The defendant has the burden of proving the defense of insanity by clear and convincing evidence.

The House under the wimp Boehner should begin an impeachment investigation of Holder for multiple crimes and then question Holder and his staff who would take the fifth amendment to save themselves from criminal jeopardy. Obama would have to then dump Holder to protect himself. Especially after, Holder would refuse to answer who at the White House knew.

Happy New Year to all of good faith at this site and may Holder and his ilk receive the justice they deserve.

  2. Koala says:

Happy New Year, Bob, and to all the B&R readers too.

  3. Igor says:

    C’mon, Bob.

It all depends on what your definition of “is” is…

    Happy New Year!

  4. Mauser says:

    Wheee!  New site design!

  5. n.n says:

Only the degree of criminality is judged by intent. However, the commission of perjury is absolute. He should have stated what he knows, does not know, and is incapable of knowing. Apparently, this is a character issue which is not restricted to scientists, journalists, et al.

Holder is clearly delusional. He is not fit to serve.
