I see nothing worth celebrating. Perversion is not worth celebrating, yet the Obambi administration and the Progressives in our country lurch onwards with this kind of soul-destroying garbage as if it is perfectly okay to tolerate then celebrate. While this does not “disgust” me, Bob, I certainly cannot condone it!

There is the natural order, which is, ostensibly, driven by instinct, and characterized best by procreation. There is also the enlightened order, which is driven by conscience, and characterized best by individual dignity. While the latter defines a motivation for self-moderating behavior, it must be compatible with the former. In the scene above, following these principles would suggest that the individuals should be respected, but there is no legitimate reason to respect their voluntary behavior.
It cannot be denied that we are sexual creatures. That is, after all, part of the natural order. That does not preclude us from moderating our behavior to promote positive outcomes. It is also undeniable that homosexual behavior is unproductive. Then again, so are heterosexual behaviors which result in the progressive exploitation of male and female alike, including: adultery, promiscuity, pedophilia, etc.
I question their obsessive, occasionally psychotic, desire to normalize a clearly deviant behavior.
Is that the response you expected, Igor? Assuming I have identified the right principles, then my perspective should remain consistent and, hopefully, self-consistent.

Overpopulation is not a myth. It occurs due to policies which encourage and force converged migration and immigration. These policies are advocated by the same people who claim overpopulation is a problem. The result is that vast tracts of arable lands full of natural resources remain unproductive. Open immigration and especially illegal immigration (i.e. unmeasured) are principal causes, but so are irrational environmentalism, regulation, etc. The policies are — with an optimistic perspective — designed to treat effects, while — with a pessimistic perspective — exacerbating underlying causes.
There are several good reasons why national constructs should persist. Among them is locating authoritarian interests near the people they serve, localizing oversight for conversion of natural and human resources, and limiting the overpopulation problem (i.e. overwhelming available resources. typically through sudden and large population changes).
They are creating the problems to which they then feign to offer solutions at a profit.
The world needs more pioneers and less advocates.

Anyway, I believe there exists an optimal compromise between the natural and enlightened orders. For example: women are not merely reproductive banks. They, along with men, play a critical role (on several occasions) to satisfy the natural order; but, we are clearly not limited to that singular role. In all matters we need to accept responsibility for our actions and promote behaviors which are known to promote stability and positive progress for individuals and society. We cannot rely on redistribution schemes to defer accountability. We cannot afford to promote the idea of instant gratification. It is a principal cause of progressive corruption with a historically recorded negative outcome.
Is this even possible? We know that it is in the short-term with a cohesive community which shares common principles. In this case individuals who choose or otherwise fail are the exception and can be controlled.
The solution to overpopulation is well-known: prosperity. It doesn’t matter whether we understand how that works; it is enough to know that as the general level of prosperity increases in a nation, that nation’s birth rate and fertility rate both go down.
And the formula for prosperity is also well-known: cheap energy and free markets.
The problem in both cases is that neither of these requires a great deal of oversight and management by an intellectual elite, and this is the reason the Left has no interest in them.

It’s not my Navy. I’ve got two boys in it. The youngest (19) just finished MM A school and sewed on his crow. Then they had “Prevent” training, which is a bunch of “touchy-feely crap” (his term). How not to commit suicide, don’t do sexual harassment, etc. He wants the Navy to be tough. It is, after all, the military, and he and his shipmates can expect to be on the pointy end of the spear some day. He doesn’t need the Navy’s permission to “show who he is” or “be himself”.

Typical of the LGBT lifestyle and their agenda. Fake, staged, contrite, distorting the good and overly pompous. Soon the stories surrounding the Sandusky’s of the world will be accepted, tolerated, and common place. If this nation keeps removing the fences of protection and allows these laws to continue; perversity and misery have no choice but to increase. Funny thing is we’ve been told and I am not surprised:
