Apparently Southie women aren’t amused with this parody. I say let’s not single out Southie. This could be almost anywhere in Massachusetts

What’s the right word?
Oh, yeah.
“skanks”
First word that popped into my mind, yeah. Those ladies were good actors, did quite well, I think. They WERE actors, right?? Right?!?
I believe they are California Bostonians. There were quite a few of us when I was there.
Funny.
I just can’t take the accent, though. The hard NY, New England, Boston accents, all distinctly different, yet somehow commonly distasteful in a woman, to me. Sorry, I just calls ‘em like I hears ‘em. Of course, like… the …. you know… LA thing… likeyouknow… gets under my skin too.
But this does illustrate that rednecks are everywhere, not just here in the South! … well, I guess those are in the south [of Boston].
@Machine – unfortunately, skanks are pretty universal too.
I forwarded this to a female Southie friend of mine and she thought it was rippin’ hilarious. She said she laughed so hard.
Really? Even in jest, it is disturbing.
It’s a documentary, not a parody of south Boston.
Loved it!
That’s some funny stuff Bob! Thanks for the after work laugh.
“Heeelarious”!
