Note: The 99% wouldn’t want to know what democracy looks like. It would just take 51% to vote to have them all jailed for a long time An abhorrent ally for Democrats Occupy Wall Street protesters should aim their wrath at Fundraiser-in-Chief Obama If they did, we’d quickly find out who’s really in charge of OWS as new marching orders would be issued Occupy Boston Defines Irony, Causes Cancellation Of Food Drive And Small Business-Heavy Festival Occupy Boston protesters spit on Coast Guard member Massholes Why the left fears Herman Cain Surging candidate threatens allegiance between blacks and Dems As I’ve always said, if Republicans siphon off 30% of the black vote, Dems are screwed Without Independents, Obama Has No Chance of Victory Obama Tears Down His Own Wall Street Obama hasn’t only bitten the hand that fed him; there are bite marks all over the body Obama’s Weakness Invited Iran’s Plot If we attacked Iran, they wouldn’t be waiting on an international coalition of sanctions Defense says Obama team didn’t stand up for John Edwards Like what was there to stand up for? We should not be forced to provide aid and comfort to individuals, cooperatives, and agencies, which desire to devalue human life… for profit. I guess some Democrats would agree. My representative, Matheson, voted to pass the amendment. Good for him. I was beginning to doubt there was any hope of redemption for America’s left. Diabetic rats cured with their own stem cells Because the cells in the current study come from the same animal in which they are transplanted, they also overcome hurdles of rejection or the need for immunosuppressive drugs, such is the case when people receive donor pancreatic cells. Well, that, and uncontrolled division of the transplanted cells. In any case, this is positive news for the development of adult stem cell therapy. http://mauser.livejournal.com Mauser ‘Message’ of Wall Street Protests ‘Increasingly Resonating,’ NBC’s Williams Champions Wishful thinking won’t make it so, NBC. RockThisTown An abhorrent ally for Democrats Maybe, but liberals have to stick together. Occupy Boston protesters spit on Coast Guard member The Coast Guard? Really? What have they ever done except protect us? Why the left fears Cain Surging candidate threatens allegiance of blacks & Dems Clinton still laughs about the blind loyalty of blacks to the Democrat party. Obama’s Weakness Invited Iran’s Plot But wait! How could he be weak? I thought Obama killed Bin Laden & Al-Awlaki! Oh, he didn’t. Defense says Obama team didn’t stand up for John Edwards And . . . . that’s relevant to Edwards committing adultery, lying about it & trying to cover it up by illegally using campaign funds how? Obama wants a government bank to fund more Solyndras ‘Solyndra’ is the perfect one-word response to Obama supporters. Rick Perry To Propose Energy Plan to Create 1.2 Million Jobs If it includes domestic drilling & shale plays, along with building more refineries, I’m all for it. Republicans Advance Bill Targeting US Funding for UN: ‘What Are We Paying For?’ Nothing short of complete termination of our UN membership will make me happy, but it’s a start. Sen. Grassley to ask for resignation of highest-level person who signed off on Fast and Furious Unless there’s DNA on a dress or lewd pics online, Democrats don’t resign Clinton is the exception to that rule – he didn’t resign even with DNA on a dress. ‘Message’ of Wall Street Protests ‘Increasingly Resonating,’ NBC’s Williams Champions And please tell us in flyover country, Brian, what exactly is the message? Obama’s state menu: Japanese beef from Texas That would be the $150 per pound beef that we taxpayers are providing. GoodMojo Machine wrote: “I have noticed the discontent in the older members of the black community around me of late…” I have noticed the same thing. Cameron Occupy Wall Street protesters should aim their wrath at Fundraiser-in-Chief Obama I have a rather liberal friend who is a big supporter of the OWS people. I tried pointing out several times that the wrath of this crowd would be better directed towards the people who actually write the laws. The answer was pretty much the same: “It’s Wall Street’s fault.” I pretty much threw in the towel. Republicans Advance Bill Targeting US Funding for UN: ‘What Are We Paying For?’ Well, those social justice programs worldwide can’t fund themselves. Not only that but if we stopped paying for the UN, there will be a lot of unemployed child prostitutes and unfunded research to show how everything is the fault of the West and America. Igor Macjhine/b> and BRFan, you two are correct in your analysis’. How could this be?!? Well, I’ve been saying all along, for almost a decade now, but especially loudly in the past three interminable yars, that America has to suffer before the people will make correct choices. We are not there yet, the vast majority of Americans are still of the mindset that the Nanny State will be good for them, that they do not have to WORK for a living! While the Black community is worse than than others, rest assured that Whitey is no different. it’s really not a black/white problem, it’s a Progressive vs. Conservative problem. EVERYbody suffers from the problem, to a greater or lesser degree! So, it’s going to take a clue-by-four for the Great Unwashed Masses to wake up and smell the sacrifice, because surely this mess won’t last much longer. We’ve run out of OPM (and, pronounce that “opium”) and we are running on fumes. Pretty soon we will have to get out and push the car to get anywhere. The road is getting steeper. Gonna get messy! The Machine BRFan, change, real change, that is, happens slowly but surely. I have noticed the discontent in the older members of the black community around me of late, while many cannot bring themselves to voice the mistake they made for the last potus election cycle, at least not out loud, I do expect to see them more ready to evaluate the impact of the next election and the implications it will have on their own lives, which right now under the present administration is teaching them the real consequences of piling on a bandwagon for the wrong reasons. BRFan Why the left fears Herman Cain Surging candidate threatens allegiance between blacks and Dems As I’ve always said, if Republicans siphon off 30% of the black vote, Dems are screwed It’ll never happen for Cain. The elections a few years ago when Michael Steele ran for senator in MD, Ken Blackwell of governor of OH and Lynn Swann governor of PA went nowhere with black voters. They did terribly at the polls with blacks. Even this election cycle, while most black Republicans ran in heavily black districts, I dont know of any black Republican, including Allen West, who did well with blacks. Blacks put party before race. n.n The desirable quality of American conservatism, is that with its principles, including: individual dignity, moral knowledge, etc., there is an increased probability of avoiding vengeful cycles (i.e., Tutsi slaughter Hutu slaughter Tutsi); and, with the latter principle follows greater individual liberty. The conservative philosophy represents the significant distinguishing characteristic between mature and immature humans, between adults and children. As for economics, it is true for blacks, for whites, and for all people, that development should begin with provision of necessities (e.g., agriculture, livestock, repair shops, etc), followed by higher margin industries (e.g., automotive, electronics, etc.). If people would follow this natural process, then their communities would not suffer extreme corrections when a single key industry is removed from their economy. In this context, diversity is highly desirable and is an excellent means to mitigate risk. This is where societal assistance should be focused in order to overcome local and regional blight. The welfare programs only serve to sabotage character development and diminish individual dignity. There is no such thing as instant gratification, other than in the exception. People who immigrated to America, with very little fortune to call their own, know this to be true. You would think that people who claim to comprehend evolutionary principles would possess this basic knowledge. Tallyman Edwards forgot that pay to play and escape prosecution is the Obama/Chicago way. Holder protects his people at low cost, but not greedy rich White trash who don’t share with Obama. Sen. Grassley expects Obama to resign? Services at the Temple of Obama continue with the idol belching even more vile smoke, but the large multitude of faithful willing to prostate themselves before the idol has decreased to a few who have to be paid to attend. What you’re paying for at the UN is the maintenance income for a useless corrupt bureaucracy composted from the brothers and the sisters and the cousins and the aunts of the world’s despots. Bloomberg needs a visit from the 99% to his upper Eastside billionaire’s Mansion. And don’t forget Cuomo, the stingy conservative, in Westchester County. Romney has no room in his heart for the Tea Party, because he still loves his old flame, Romneycare, and pines for the warmth of Gore and the kumbya with his Democrat buddies. Obama culinary appreciation is only for a hippie communal stew pot laced with weed simmering for hours in the center of the ashram of Bill Ayers. Igor You’re in good form today, Tallyman! “Sen. Grassley expects Obama to resign?” My first thoughts exactly. “…composted from the brothers and the sisters…” Excellent choice of words there! You’re on a roll with everything else you said. Keep it up!! (less typing for me…) Uncle Rick “Politico Reporter Dismissed for Plagiarism” “Those who know her well say there is no way Marr did this maliciously or even, necessarily, knowingly” Say again? She didn’t know she was lifting someone else’s work? http://mauser.livejournal.com Mauser She just didn’t know it was “Wrong”. because there is no right and wrong in liberalism, only what “feels” good. n.n It’s a selective history, selective science, … It’s a selective reality after all. Trishmac What a crock. Can any of us imagine if the Tea Parties acted this way, can you imagine if there was trash and vandalism after a Tea Party? There would be screams from the left, there would be a media hullabaloo if we’d done anything close to the mess this OWS movement has incurred.Their HYPOCRISY…knows no bounds. And in related news, stolen from Ace of Spades comments: You people got it backwards. Capitalism calls for insolvent banks to fail. Socialism calls for them to be bailed out. Edit: Some more complete thoughts: The free market gets rid of risky, unstable businesses. Capitalism means if you don’t have a viable product, you go away. People vote with their own money. In Socialism, you vote with other people’s money. You keep throwing good money after bad because you like the idea of a stable bank and you don’t want to admit that it needs to go bankrupt. All a businessman can do is try to sell you something that you think is worth the money. But a government can take your wealth by force, and allocate it to an area that has no viable market, purely for the benefit of catering to voters and trying to get re-elected. As long as we have a big government trying to run every aspect of the economy, it will be taken advantage of by some minority to the detriment of the majority. I sympathize with the message of OWS that banks get special favors from government. But the answer isn’t to give more special favors to labor unions and employees. The answer is to get the government out of the way and let the market flush out all these bad banks so a viable economy can rise. BRFan That is exactly right Trishmac, Volumes can be written about the media double standard just with regards to the coverage of the Tea Party. It doesn’t matter because when presented with it they’ll insist they are being objective and you are just being paranoid. Koala I like that and it is worth repeating. A salute to Ace of Spades and thank you for sharing it, Trishmac. n.n Yes. Even the extreme corrections have arisen due to the authoritarian interests initiating or conspiring to distort the market. However, the market is self-correcting, and the government cannot afford to spend $7 trillion annually in perpetuity; and, if they do, they will rightly receive the feedback they are due. It is the people’s economy and it should not be permitted to be held hostage by bureaucrats and their beneficiaries.
