“Christie feeling the prez-ure<
Cain-Christie, Christie-Cain…?”
It’s a conundrum: Christie isn’t conservative and Cain apparently (even at his age) hasn’t yet learned to *not* speak out of his own ignorance. Cain’s problem is much easier to cure than Christie’s.
“Small Donors Are Slow to Return to the Obama Fold
Donors know how money is made, thus know Obama’s business plan is way off”
Were “small donors” ever a significant proportion of Obama’s financial support? Didn’t most of his financing come in large bundles … and a significant part from illegal foreign contributions?
I like Cain and if given a choice between him and Obama of course I’ll vote for and support Cain but I have 2 big issues with him.
1. He has no public office experience at any level. As much as we complain about Obama having no prior executive experience, which is important, a candidate should also have some governmental experience.
2. His age. He’s 65. By the way, it’s worse with Paul, 76. Cain’s also had serious health problems in the past; cancer.
Wow! I just noticed Romney is 64 but as far as I know he hasn’t had serious health issues, probably in part because of his faith which encourages a healthy lifestyle.
Cain applies himself and is a success. Even in a battle with cancer he is successful. I can vote for that.
Obama condemns the apostate and decrees follow me you Black sheeple. Also, the collection plate isn’t full.
Cain kicks down Romneycare and Perry-alien-care burdened opponents.

White Progressive Spawn leave their Marxist/anarchist/Progressive slime trails in Lower Manhattan.
I have two MAJOR issues with Moore’s statement. (I have more issues with Moore, but that would take pages of rants to address….)
1) My husband is British. His statement that if you are sick enough to need a CT scan the Canadians, Brits, etc., would get you right in is ludicrous. I can’t speak first hand for the Canadian system, but in the British system I can assure you…. it would NOT happen. My husband’s family in London tell me all the time how horrible the health care is there and how long it takes to do even the simplest of things.
2) His statement “if you are sick enough to need a CT scan”…. hello, IDIOT… CT scans are used to show how sick you are… a lot of the time we don’t know exactly what is going on before the CT scan. A lot of the time symptoms are vague and mild when we do the CT scan to figure things out and that is when we FIND the problems. A lot of people do not know they are “that sick” until AFTER the CT scan!
Indeed, Mommy, indeed. My wife needed a CT scan to determine that her rotator cuff was in bad,BAD shape (almost totally torn!). Now that she’s had the surgery, she has normal movement, power, and no pain whatsoevah!
In the Wonderful World of Social Medicine (NHS, anyone?) she’d still be waiting. And waiting. And still in major pain. And probably tear it totally during the wait.
Cain being my favourite out of the current GOP field, I’m pleasantly surprised of this outcome, which I didn’t expect at all. I was thinking Cain’s campaign was starting to pan out.
@Ilion: Regarding Christie… Pardon my ignorance, but why isn’t he a “conservative”
For starters, he’s “soft” on the fact of “undocumented workers”.
He also favors the Ground Zero mosque and ridicules any worries about creeping sharia; he has promoted a Muslim judge of dubious character.
Another resignation over bad behavior over climate skepticism
The following is a machine translation.
I just read the official document prepared by the Secretary General of the SEII on the case “Climategate,” by which he informed the Executive Directors, an overwhelming majority, you reiterated his confidence, despite the factual evidence that I provided earlier, which establish the reality of their lies you have made.
…
It would have been much wiser to recognize that you have been eroded by Mr. van Ypersele, based on the reputation dontil still enjoys in Belgium, despite its links to the most radical branch of Greenpeace.
…
So I can only note that neither you nor the Executive will share a number of values that are dear to me and which I have never traded and will not compromise the future.
There is dissent in the ranks which was never publicized.
Richard Feynman, the Nobel, ‘It’s a pain in the neck.’
Feynman describes the mentality which pervades “clubs” (including political) and the potential danger inherent to its uniformity. It would explain the mischaracterized “consensus” which has been the prima facie evidence for AGW/AGCC/”climate disruption”/”climate change”.
Another one bites the dust. Thanks for the article.
Sure. What’s disturbing is that a difference of opinion can escalate to a full-on confrontation. I expect this in politics, where consensus rules the process; but, it should not happen in scientific disciplines. These events confirm that what is happening with AGW/etc., is an extraordinary and even anomalous occurrence.
It’s ironic that they cannot even establish that AGW/etc. is anomalous; but, their extreme behavior to quell dissent and sabotage the scientific process may indeed be just that.
