Gawker Sure Knows How To Pick The Worst States In America

Gawker’s top five states all had Democrat governors and are pretty much failing economically. (They didn’t spend much time on petty issues like high unemployment, and fleeing taxpayers….)

America! Who likes it? It’s merely a schizophrenic jumble of 50 warring personalities all vying to be number one. But of course they can’t all be. So which state is the best? And more importantly, which one is worst? Well, we’ve set out to determine just that. Welcome to the Worst States in America.

Gawker’s worst five states are (not surprisingly) all led by Republican governors and the biggest problem seemed to be racial in nature. I wonder how many black people work at Gawker? Looks a lot like one of their worst 50 states….

I’m showing this to every liberal I know in the hopes that they’ll move to those states.

them folks at gawker is just plain dumb.
they gone and left off seven(7) states.
    #8????
damn, i was hoping for a negative number.

  3. Tallyman says:

All Progressives are welcomed in the Kingdom of Prince Cuomo, where people and government come before businesses. There’s plenty of room for you because the taxpayers are fleeing at the highest rate in the USA.

You will pay your fair share. NY Comes In Second To New Jersey For The Most Taxes Per Person. New York’s Taxes paid by residents as percentage of income are 12.1% “The state [NY] has one of the highest state and local tax collections per capita, an average of $6,884. According to the Census Bureau, the top ten counties in the U.S. with the highest property taxes as a percentage of home values are all in New York.”

No need to worry about messy businesses expanding or coming to NY because NY is next to last as business friendly.

And best of all you can use your excess money to help pay the largest debt of any State in the USA with New York Debt per person including local debt at $24,195.

    What’s a Gawker?

    Nevah hoid of it…

  5. n.n says:

All they seem capable of observing is literally black and white. They are very closed-minded for a purportedly open-minded people.

Welcome to America and the American race.

any people united by common history, language, cultural traits, etc.

I think there are a lot of people who do comprehend the premise for the establishment of nations, tribes, etc., which is why they are doing their utmost to divide us along trivial lines.

Humanity! Who likes it? It’s merely a schizophrenic jumble of over 6 billion warring personalities all vying to be number one.

    Pathetic.

  6. eNeecie says:

They are so thrilled with themselves because they think they are going to “piss off absolutely everyone in the nation,” but in order to do that people actually have to care. Exactly why am I supposed to care what a bunch of New Yorkers thinks about the rest of the world? Of course, they are going to say New York is the best and the South sucks. Duh.

Okay, here’s my list of worst states:

    50. Texas
49 – 2 all of the other states except NY
    1. New York

Why does NY suck? Because I said so, so there!

I’m sure all the people at Gawker are mad at me now.

  7. Richmedia says:

    nice list, eNeecie!

After reading Gawker singing the praises of NY, I was hoping that IN would come in at 50th, but alas, it came in it number 25, primarily on the strength of IU and the 50s prof Kinsey. Strangely, Kinsey was mentioned while Speedway was not. At least they slammed my adopted hometown of South Bend, so I’ve got that much going!

This is all you need to read:
“Really, though, the main reason to love California is that you can get as stoned as you want on premium kine bud totally legally, as long as you have a doctor’s note.” And the state is broke but who cares?

At least they admit that Seattle is very annoying, but they don’t have the brains to realize it’s because Seattle is totally dominated by “progressives.”
