I’m surprised “C-Ray” would take time away from the seminar series he’s filming:
“How To Step On Your Tallywhacker When Lives Are On The Line”
Actually, Nagin came off pretty well in the transcript, and did not take any of the MANY opportunities Bashir gave him to blame Bush or FEMA (and clearly, Bashir WANTED to use Nagin as a vehicle for criticizing Bush). He actually accepted blame for fouling things up.
That’s progress.
That’s also impressive, but it does not correlate with his behavior in recent years. Maybe he experienced an epiphany or a change of heart. I could certainly respect someone who recognized their own faults and endeavored to reform themself.
