How much do we still not know about President Obama because the objective mainstream media got all giddy with “hope” and “change”, desperately wanted to be a part of history and not just report it, and maybe deep down inside knew they might not like what they found and it was more important (to them) a Republican wasn’t elected?

Thomas Friedman just threw away the last bit of credbility he had.
While the media was tearing into Palin to portray her as a wild eyed extremist, they completely ignored Obama’s past. While Palin had to answer questions about friends of her husband who might have advocated Alaska seceed from the US, they never asked Obama about his Marxist mentor in Hawaii or why he chose to hang out with people Obama himself described as communists. He was never asked why he would hike from Columbia to Cooper Union to attend a Socialist Scholars meeting.
While the media was keen to portray Palin as a light weight, it ignored the fact that Obama himself was a feather weight who barely had a work history and never accoplished anything in any of the minor part time positions he held.
What will it take for him to be sure, the media blew it?

Did I hear Kurtz say “auration” (which isn’t a word) ostensibly meaning the “aura” of Obama, or did he say “oration”, meaning Obama’s (mediocre) ability to read from a teleprompter?
And Friedman says it’s “way too soon to tell”???? What’s it gonna take, Tommy? A complete financial meltdown and reduction of the U.S. to third-world status before you admit the liberal media “blew it”?? Are 9+% unemployment, failed stimulus & bailouts, financial fiascos in the banking, insurance & automotive industries, total incompetence on foreign affairs, spending us into oblivion and a complete lack of leadership (“present”) not enough for you?
Perhaps you’ll be able to answer the question on 11-6-12.
