A white rape victim goes off in court after being badgered by the defense attorney and a black female judge puts her behind bars for contempt in the trial of a black male, and the only reason why she was released a day early was because the public was informed.
Even worse, she was kept in the jail cell next to her attacker for 2 days, and he threatened her life. What a horrible thing for anyone to have to experience!
Seems from what I saw and heard, the Judge had a hair trigger. Racist behavior? Not enough evidence, Bob.
However, being incarcerated next to your accuser is inexcusable.
Wow. This would qualify as cruel and unusual punishment. The civil servants involved should be held in contempt of the Constitution and incarcerated for their transgression. If the judge was aware of her situation, then she should be disbarred and incarcerated.
