Apology Of The Day

I really didn’t think they had it in them, but after Time Magazine’s Mark Halperin said President Obama was “kind of a dick” during the Wednesday presser on “Morning Joe”….

Mark Halperin’s comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.
MSNBC

I said I didn’t think MSNBC had it in them after what was said on their channel about President Bush, Scott Brown, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Dick Cheney, Ann Coulter, conservatives, the Tea Party, and it’s obvious apologies are not in the queue.

The MSNBC response to blasphemy against the anointed one will discourage others who might follow in such a path. Jerk, liar, demagogue were more factually descriptive and irrefutable, while his chosen word was merely a subjective opinion.

  2. The Machine says:

You left out all the crap said about Sarah Palin.

    There's a douchebag out there who has called her a c— and a t— on the air…

  3. Igor says:

Bob, you just know that was a "token apology".

    You can't change the leopard's spots…

So, describing a woman as a mashed-up bag of meat qualifies as "a high level of discourse" — as long as the woman is conservative. Got it.

  5. Ilíon says:

There is no "kind of" about it — Obama *is* a dick. He's also an asshole. And, if you think about his bahavior, a pussy.

So, is it any wonder that he feels this compulsive need to **** us over?
