Honestly, I don't understand why anybody would be so freaked out about this book. If you don't like it, don't read it, don't buy it, tell all your friends how much you hate it, but to condemn the people who think it's funny and will spend $15 on it is just silly. As a parent of 3, with #4 on the way, I have been there, a LOT, and I will be again. No one is suggesting that the book be read to children, but I DID let my 16 yr old daughter look at it. She laughed with me, as she has seen what her sleep-deprived mother looked like for the first 2 months after her sister was born. The 'outrage" at a book with cuss words in a starring role seems manufactured and ridiculous. As a conservative and a capitalist, I say more power to the author. I wish I had thought of it, cuz it's a GREAT idea. Anyone with children has to appreciate the honesty of the sentiment, even if they would never dream of speaking the Big F out loud.
Really? You’d pay $15 for a 32 page book where the entire joke is “he said a naughty word”? I think that was what the outrage was about; about how lazy and cheap the humor was. This reminds me of the kid I had in my first grade class who would giggle and say “poo poo” and “tee tee” thinking he was a hilarious comedian.
