Does DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz not know illegal immigration already is a “crime”?
Maybe if the Democrat Party would go about elevating their best and brightest instead of highlighting race and gender promotions, they wouldn’t have their new chairwoman making stupid statements like this.
Then again, maybe Debbie Wasserman Schultz believes her constituents are stupid and don’t know illegal immigration is a “crime” because it’s already against the law.

She, and other of her kind, believe that redistributive change (i.e., involuntary exploitation via recycled wealth) is the solution to the world's problems. She, and other of her kind, fail to comprehend, that with respect to sustainable development, it is in the best interest of each individual, family, community, and nation, that the land upon which they reside is developed to become productive and serve their needs.
As for the illegal aliens, the vast majority of which originate from 2nd and 3rd world nations, there is an active effort to obfuscate the cause to motivate a mass migration (over 1 million annually to America alone). There is also an active effort, by the civil and human rights businesses no less, to violate the civil and human rights of the citizens and legal residents of the destination nations.
None of this is can be justified when 10% of Americans are unemployed, and an additional 10% are in temporary positions or underemployed. When a large minority of Americans are funded primarily through involuntary exploitation (e.g., welfare). When a large number of criminals sit idle in their cells, causing a repeated injury to their victims and society. When American men, women, and children are displaced by illegal aliens and their children. When the illegal alien invasion results in the increased incidence of murder, rape, and other violent and nonviolent crimes. When a selective rule of law results in the denigration of individual dignity and promotes progressive corruption of individuals and systems.
There is no credible defense for supporting open immigration and certainly not unmeasured illegal immigration.

Bob, if the Republican Party would, at the very least, stop elevating people because it's their "turn" (Ala Dole and McCain), maybe we could hope to stop all these Democrat induced nightmares.
The Politburo has decreed that these poor displaced persons are "Undocumented" not "Illegal" and therefor no crime has been committed. And besides "they're part of the backbone of our economy".
