Bonehead Of The Day

I love football as much as the next guy and I guess we’re all lucky to be alive.

Do this research if we don’t have a season — watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game. There’s too many people that live through us, people live through us.
Ray Lewis, Baltimore Ravens linebacker

It sounds like we have yet another out-of-touch multimillionaire just a wee bit too full of himself.

Watch how much crime picks up? By the players? Where else but the NFL can you kill, run over, or paralyze someone and continue playing? What have they got to lose?

It sounds like Lewis is suffering from a god complex or at least a dearth of humility. Neither of which are becoming of an individual of dignity.

When the NFL last struck, it was nearly five seasons before I watched a game, and eight before I watched more than one in a season. I will find other things to do, if I must.

I know I have never again watched baseball, the way I did before the MLB strikes, and I definitely feel the NFL should be smarter than they are showing

There are relatively few people, trying to equitably divvy up around $9,000,000,000, (uh, that’s nine BILLION dollars!), as I understand the issue.

    Work…it…out…

Does the high salary make people delusional? ‘Cause he’s a Legend in his own Mind.

The World does not revolve around the NFL, Ray. Hate to break it to ya…

YEP, WAY TOO FULL OF HIMSELF!!!

Ray seems to be saying that all the "little people" who work in the stadiums and in support of the events will turn to crime if there is no season. A high opinion he has of his fellow man!
