No wonder the New York Times is losing money. Either they’re led by idiots or boldfaced liars who believe their readers are idiots (which may indeed be true).
On the Obama birth certificate thing…
Several quickly questioned its authenticity. That’s because the birther question was never really about citizenship; it was simply a proxy for those who never accepted the president’s legitimacy, for a toxic mix of reasons involving ideology, deep political anger and, most insidious of all, race. It was originally promulgated by fringe figures of the radical right, but mainstream Republican leaders allowed it to simmer to satisfy those who are inflamed by Mr. Obama’s presence in the White House.
If there was anyone on the Times editorial board that was capable of reading, they’d know the eligibility “theory first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship.” I know the economy is tough right now but I’d not shed a tear if every one of those racebaiting “editors” were out on the street as they don’t deserve to have a job.

Why should clever Republicans have to refute an issue which harms Obama? Trump seized on this issue to lure all the birthers to his support, but he failed because a clever lawyer or politician never asks a question to which they don’t know the answer.
I was born in Manhattan. The NY Times is a bible for most NYC residents. My former favorite trap question for Manhattanites was to ask their opinion on an issue and almost always they would be unable to form an opinion and fall back on that they had to find out the Times’ opinion first. I stopped buying the NYT in 1961, because it was full of lies then. I personally knew the NYT promoted many total frauds on the front page of their inside local section. Readership is dropping; ad revenue is falling; their Boston Globe is a money drain; Pancho is running the show; the end is near.
Trump has not failed. The issue of merit concerning Obama is where his loyalties lie and, as a leader, will he demonstrate the proper deference to the people he represents. Obama has confirmed that he is opportunistic and merely a relic of the old order. He is not a leader of free people who acknowledge their individual dignity. Obama’s revelations will only sway the opinion of anyone who has already submitted to his rule.
In his arrogance, Obama continues to reveal his true nature. His disregard for individuals is the rule and not the exception; but, this much was already known from both his words and actions over the last several decades. Why people offer him the benefit of the doubt, is between them and their conscience.
Trump succeeded in removing the birth certificate arrow from Obama’s quiver, which Obama planned to use in 2012. Trump failed, because he was shown wrong by Obama. The tally is minus one for Obama and minus one for Trump. We need to goad both Trump and Obama to continue.
The Clinton supporters were responding to the attacks waged by Obama’s supporters. Before there was McCain and Obama, there was Clinton and Obama. The same dirty tactics employed by the left-wing lunatics today, were in full array and deployed during the Democrat primaries. Obama was on the American stage, as he was on the Illinois stage. And the Clintons… Well, they were who they were. At least they knew proper compromises, which is more than can be said for Obama and his supporters.
Curiously, there was little reported about questioning McCain, other presidential candidates, and even Bush’s eligibility for office. I guess prejudice is a single dimensional enterprise. Sorry, left-wing lunatics, but you cannot have your cake and eat it too.
America’s left is simultaneously pathetic and progressive. They have managed to expand on the classic divisions exploited by other left-wing lunatics around the world. They are truly morons of the first order. However, they are not stupid, and emotional appeals remain an effective tactic to corrupt perception, and cow individuals, in order to realize their reality.
Until they acknowledge the broad spectrum of prejudice, not the least of which is their own, then they have absolutely no credibility to remark on any issues of merit.
Subversion from within is the most insidious betrayal.
