Whether we’re talking the DDT ban or most any other green policy, the unintended consequences usually result in death by the millions… or sometimes just one.
Ira Einhorn was on stage hosting the first Earth Day event at the Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on April 22, 1970. Seven years later, police raided his closet and found the “composted” body of his ex-girlfriend inside a trunk.
When we say these people are crazy and seem to have a total disregard for those they harm, the proof is clearly there.

Eww. That can’t have smelled good.
It just goes with the whole “save the earth at all costs” thing: so much the better if the cost is human lives.
The greenies seem to forget that humans are as much a part of creation as whales, baby harp seals, trees, etc. They seem to think that humans are a virus to be eradicated, well, not them “personally” of course…
I’m surprised that given the logical extension of both this train of thought and evolution’s “survival of the fittest”, they haven’t started an anti-antibiotic program: “viruses and bacteria have rights too.” Of course, they’re not as cute and fuzzy as baby harp seals. Though if they TRULY adhered to the “survival of the fittest” they’d be the most vehement libertarians around!
It all boils down to these issues simply being tools to try to control people. The issues are just incidental conveniences. I suppose that’s why they like islam so much. It is just all this boiled down to one basic, easy to understand principal: SUBMIT OR DIE!
Shall we consider that which these people consider most offensive, remembered particularly today through Sunday: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!
Cheers all!
If we are ever disposable then we are always disposable. There are some behaviors which should never be normalized.
The policies of generational progressives are fundamentally flawed across the board. Their doctrines predispose them to extremism, which correlates well with their radical nature by design.
Earth Day on Good Friday . . . . . all you Christians abandon the Jesus worship nonsense! Let’s instead worship the flowers, trees, bees, whales, & baby seals – you know, those creatures that are selflessly & constantly committing random acts of kindness!
Mr. Einhorn apparently doesn’t follow good composting practices. Hasn’t the environmental movement taught you anything, Mr. Einhorn? Everyone knows you’re supposed to put dead bodies in your garden to enrich the soil!
As with all processes, there is a progressive evolution. For now, murdering and mutilating the body of another human being (except, of course, virginal human life — those without a voice) is still considered taboo. You’ll have to wait for the next generation of progress, before recycling your victims can be done in the open with the adoring admiration of your neighbors, friends, and environmental businesses.
Just for fun… Because we can’t be thinking about the body of a murdered and decomposing girlfriend all day.
In honor of Earth Day, and worshipers of Gaia.
Friday Funny – Neural Circuits
I’m not saying anyone is capable of being 100 percent unbiased but I am saying that scientists evaluate scientific claims, and also claims about expertise, using the norms of their profession, precisely because they have neural circuits for doing so laid down by many years of experience. Which the other groups don’t have.
– Chris Mooney
This is a false assertion, and has been demonstrated to be poorly correlated to scientists in reality. However, if he can manage to assemble a consensus…
Praised be Gaia, she has made him superior to all others. Bow at his feet, unworthy creatures, or maybe just simian derivatives that voluntarily submit to mortal gods.
I wonder if Mooney has ever acknowledged his faith, either in public or just in his own mind.
Mooney would be well advised to note where similar arrogance has led others astray.
He was recycling her…
Hey bob, for “earth day” we’re going driving, hee hee
More Gaia news, and confirmation of the superior objectivity of scientists.

Stubborn Antarctic Ozone Hole refuses to change
This may be one of those “we have no idea what’s happening” moments. Followed through with sincere apologies from the secular cult for attempting, yet again, the perpetration of involuntary exploitation and progressive control over individuals.
It would be extremely unwise for any cult, or religion, to subsume the true spirit of science in its service. That’s how master races, and other left-wing lunacies, are born.
Isn’t it funny how the Enviro-weenies don’t want to commit themselves to the movement by killing themselves as an example to others to reduce the terrible load we are putting on the environment??
Kinda like the Muzzy splodeydopes who’s leaders/teachers/imams don’t volunteer to lead the way, again by example…
Funny, dat.

Lead by example? Funny guy.
Earth Day Ends Obama’s 53,300 Gallon Trip
(via: Like I Said, It Practically Writes Itself)
President Obama declared today’s 41st annual Earth Day proof of America’s ecological and conservation spirit—then completed a three-day campaign-style trip logging 10,666 miles on Air Force One, eating up some 53,300 gallons at a cost of about $180,000. And that doesn’t include the fuel consumption of his helicopter, limo, or the 29 other vehicles that travel with that car.
Well, that explains why developing nations were excluded from saving Gaia. Look for the exemptions, and fiscal profligacy in a time of crisis. It must require an individual with extraordinary self-esteem to deceive without remorse.
There is no financial crisis, and, above all, there is no AGW/AGCC/”climate disruption” slush fund, so they will be look for other revenue streams.
At least the Soviet morons did not hide their true nature. Not for long, anyway. And when they were exposed… Well, that’s when things, and people, started to disappear. We are truly fortunate for empowered competing interests to keep the lunatics, and government, in check.
Today for Earth Day we celebrated by mowing the lawn with our gas powered lawn mower, spraying weeds with herbicide, and then relaxing in front of our heat generating flat screen TV with the air conditioning blasting. Tonight we’ll probably go out and get some red meat for dinner.
Murderer! Those weeds didn’t harm you. In fact, if you used a selective herbicide, then I think a “hate crime” enhancement would be applicable to your deviant behavior. Kill all plants or none at all.
As for your other activities which are pursued in blatant disregard of Earth Day… Well, there is a waiver for that. Are you a member of a union, “minority” group, developing nation, or a preferred political class?
Shhhhh. Don’t tell Al Gore . . . . his head will explode. You’re supposed to mow with a reel mower that needs no gas, use eco-green herbicides that cost twice as much as the regular ones, power your TV with a Gilligan’s Island-style electricity-generating stationary bicycle, cool it down by manually fanning it, and live in a naturally-cooled grass hut. Red meat? Oh, the humanity!!!!
Meanwhile, back on Al Gore’s ranch, he’s flying around the country in a 25K gallons of fuel per trip-consuming private jet, driving around in a 10mpg SUV, and enjoying all the creature comforts of a 12K square ft home with a $10K/month utility bill, sucking as many dollars as possible out of the taxpayers’ pockets.
And meanwhile, back on my ranch, I’ll be biting into a big ol’, cheese-draped, mustard, onion & pickles-laden, juicy burger (hey, I’m doing my part to eliminate those methane gas-passing, polluting bovines).
Earth Day’s Pantheism was resurrected from discarded primitive ideas so progressives could respond to their instinct knowledge of a force and creator greater than themselves. But their Gods were their own creations and therefore had no validity of message. For Al Gore, the D grade Divinity graduate, a confusion with minimal learning about a God was easily converted into becoming the Prophet. This “new” pantheistic religion is primitive nature worship. Do they pray to a cockroach or a tree and expect an answer?
This stupidity was going on three thousand years ago: Isaiah 44: He cut down cedars,
or perhaps took a cypress or oak. …. It is used as fuel for burning… some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread.
But… From the rest he makes a god, his idol;
he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, “Save me! You are my god!”
18 They know nothing, they understand nothing;
their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand…..Such a person feeds on ashes; a deluded heart misleads him;
I have always wondered if simian derivatives, and the secular cult specifically, predate the introduction of humans to the Earth. If so, then the sentence for commission of original sin was the forced integration of humans and simian derivatives. The punishment would certainly fit the crime. If you wanted knowledge of function and dysfunction, then there is no better way than through first-hand experience. Lead on, simian derivatives.
You’re so kind to the progressive secular cult to conjecture they derive from monkeys. But monkeys have compassion and learn from experience, unlike progressives who only emote. They may have more in common with plants in that they are attracted by their nature to certain things without any intelligent intervention. i.e. heliotropism
http://hubpages.com/hub/monkeys-have-compassion-too
Since neither they nor I have knowledge of their origin, I have gone with their speculation that they are related to simians. Because, as we all know, correlation is equivalent to causation, and this is the premise for incontrovertible evidence that science, outside of a limited frame of reference is, in fact, selective.
As for the monkeys, I am well aware of their civilized nature. They participate in a highly evolved structure consisting of a nuclear and extended family. Their behavior more closely mimics American Conservatism than the involuntary exploitation advocated by left-wing ideologues of any national or tribal origin.
They seem to possess an acute awareness of individual identity, which has historically escaped the comprehension of progressive totalitarians. This allows them to make reasonable compromises between individual dignity and the general welfare. This reasonable involuntary exploitation is not progressive, but it is predictable, reproducible, and equally applicable. This has never been possible, and there is no evidence to suggest that it is possible, for any length of time, in human society. Humans are too “smart” for their own good. We have mastered the art of manipulation through rhetoric, or failing that, through force.
Yeah, there are similarities. However, until we acquire the capability to distinguish between origin and expression, then correlation in behavior will remain a circumstantial artifact and an intellectual curiosity. The true spirit of science establishes a utility to elevate our condition, but has no capacity to answer any fundamental questions. It is limited to observable and reproducible events within a limited frame of reference (extensible through trans-generational knowledge transfers). Anything beyond that narrow scope resides in the domain of philosophical musings or faith.
Ultimately, I am more concerned with principles, than the cause of their formulation. I am, however, considerate of the latter, because neither I nor anyone else can deny that they have been influenced by someone’s faith. Since my bias can be associated with the Judeo-Christian faiths, I have selected Jews and Christians as my associates; but, I do not reject anyone else who shares like-minded principles, including simian derivatives as long as they don’t coerce a conversion.
