Sharia In Tampa

Which of this judge’s hand was on the Koran when he swore to uphold the Constitution?

Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen is being attacked by conservative bloggers after he ruled in a lawsuit March 3 that, to resolve one crucial issue in the case, he will consult a different source.

“This case,” the judge wrote, “will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic Law.”

I really didn’t think the takeover would be this easy.

Impeach this traitor! I don’t know if this guy was elected or appointed, but either way, he needs to go!

I don’t care who appointed him, this is just wrong.

First, the judge is not competent under Sharia to make a decision, because he is not a quadis nor a Muslim.
Second, if this is just arbitration, the judge needs only decide whether both parties agreed to an arbitration method and if appeal was possible.
Third, this case points out the fundamental flaw of Sharia Law, which has no punishment for perjury, believing no Muslim would lie, fearing God’s wrath. Talk about a delusion about human nature.
Fourth, Sharia does not allow the cross examination of witnesses, because of assumption that Muslims fearing God would only speak the whole accurate truth.

Would Obama tell the truth in a Sharia Court? What if a party lies about his belief in Islam and doesn’t fear retribution by God, is there justice?
Finally, if this US judge has no knowledge of what he’s doing, why should we respect his system of Justice, where he’s a judge, either?

A selective rule of law is a bad habit which is hard to break. A selective reality is harmful to all people eventually. Not unlike a democracy without rational constitutional guidance.

As with all experiments, the great American experiment in individual liberty must end. Well, what have we learned from this noble enterprise? Besides the well-known fact that instant gratification coupled with generational progressives promotes and protects progressive corruption. Since we have only relearned the lessons of history, we can say that we have, in fact, learned nothing.

I’m surprised that the followers of the secular cult are not up in arms over this progressive deterioration. I guess the priority is to subvert their primary competing interests, which really represents the only sensible course of action. There is no reason why they should concern themselves with an inferior threat to their wealth and power.
