Flashback Of The Day

Judge uses Obama’s words against him

In ruling against President Obama‘s health care law, federal Judge Roger Vinson used Mr. Obama‘s own position from the 2008 campaign against him, when the then-Illinois senator argued there were other ways to achieve reform short of requiring every American to purchase insurance.

“I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that…”

That’s right, he said it.

Helping people to help themselves? What a novel proposition.

He is also in favor of progressive voluntary exploitation.

Get that man’s name. I would like to vote for him when he runs for president.

No. Wait. It’s just Obama before he was co-opted by the prevailing winds. Never mind.

Nice piece of research Bob. Well done!

It is such a joyous thing to see oBummer’s own words come back to bite him. [Oh wait, is 'bite' too violent a word these days?]

He also said something to the affect of a request to raise the debt ceiling was caused by a “failure of leadership.”
It also needs to be pointed out over and over again that there was not sufficient time allocated for review of the legislation prior to the vote as he promised there would be on all bills. And I have yet to hear any press inquire about the waivers being granted.

This just in, the president flip flops opinion with the wind…
