Who says consumers don’t have power?
As FOX411 reported, Taco Bell was the first sponsor to withdraw advertising from “Skins,” quickly followed by Wrigley, Subway, Foot Locker, L’Oreal and Shick. General Motors and H&R Block both issued statements explaining that their ads were aired during the premiere by mistake and would have no further association with the show.
Lacking a stable of advertisers to sponsor the show, “Skins” could reportedly lose MTV up to $2 million per episode. With the swift decampment of sponsors, FOX411 has learned that the show could be taken off the air—for good.
We’ll see if the juvenile Hollywood “execs’ learn anything from this.

YEA! but if the MTV ‘juvenile execs’ are anything like the ones in the White House, they have not a clue!
Will they follow the White House’s lead, and :”double down”, on all their mistakes?
Very good. The progressive denigration of individual dignity, and devaluation of human life, must end. These processes are principal contributors to the problems suffered by our society.
Great..now the show will receive victim status designation status from Holder’s DOJ and none of the progressives therein will pursue child porn charges….
DaveJ, QUIT GIVING THEM IDEAS!!
They might actually try. And if they succeed, I’m blaming YOU!
