How Kim Kardashian Redefined ‘Celebrity’

I always thought one had to have an inkling of talent to qualify for celebrity status. Obviously, in our reality-television driven society, talent isn’t a prerequisite.

PopEater’s Celebrity of the Year: Kim Kardashian
She dominates social media, with a Twitter following of 5.4 million and a Klout score of 86 out of 100 (that means people are actually paying attention to what she tweets). She can command more than $100,000 for a personal appearance and $50,000 for just one tweet.

And to think if not for her late father Robert Kardashian’s being part of O.J.’s “Dream Team” (not to mention the Hollywood connections he had), the world might be a better place.

She has talents. I would enjoy seeing her talents live. But other than that, I don’t get her following.

She has talents? All I thought she had was looks.

What, pray tell, does she have in the way of talent?

I don’t know if she can walk and talk at the same time. But, if twitter had video… Oh my…

  4. Dave says:

She has talents Igor. I have seen the pictures. I have seen the video. Her talent is best shown with a low neck or in tight pants.

  5. Igor says:

Dave, is that what they are called?? :)

No, what she has is what God gave her, not a “talent”. A talent is a skill that is developed through (hard) work and effort.

She has no talents. I stand by my original statement.

This family is such trash, the mom pimps out her kids. Very sad. Only watch a few seconds once in a while to keep me in check to know exactly the type of mom I do not want to be and who I DO NOT want my daughter to turn out to be. Let’s hope they don’t have many children and this family dies out. The people I really, really feel sorry for are the poor reality show camera people who have to live in these awful lives everyday. I am sure they are not paid enough to spend the day with this materialistic family with no morals. I wish the poor TV producers had more talent to put shows on TV that actually contributed to society.

Of course, all of the above is just my opinion, maybe the world enjoys watching these train wrecks????
