Getting Your Global Warming Minds Right

Warmers insist the Earth is heating up and they know people are to blame (and not because of anything the Sun may be doing). The problem is too many of us aren’t listening, buying green cars or sorting our trash. They’ve given us choices and we’ve been too stubborn to choose wisely.

Sounds like they’re done playin’.

“I often hear energy experts who have never studied behavior say that behavior doesn’t change,” says ecologist and sociologist Thomas Dietz of Michigan State University. “But if we learn anything from the last 50 years, it’s that behavior changes in huge ways.

“We also looked to programs that have tried to change other kinds of behavior for analogies. I’m glad to hear that others are following this line of work,” he says. “It’s one of the best tools we have for getting a realistic estimate of what behavioral change can accomplish.”

Instead re-branding or coming up with scientific data that hasn’t been manipulated, behavioral scientists are looking back towards the best ways to (again) force us to come around to their way of thinking.

The kids weren’t enough. Now they’re coming after us.

So, the massive social experiment continues. I wonder how far they will take it this time.

    To paraphrase a wise man:

I’ll give you my mind when you take it from my cold, dead body!

It’s amazing, and somewhat comforting, to observe how single-minded left-wing lunatics are throughout the world and history. Their predictable nature offers us a chance to counter their progressive threat to humanity and individual dignity.

Anyway, in order to realize la-la land on Earth, they must control the population. So long as there is global exchange, that control must necessarily extend to all people, in all nations. To this end there is no better way to effect a peaceful transformation than through the process of normalization. Whoever controls this process will determine what future people will consider to be moral, or at least acceptable. Unfortunately, for the vast left-wing lunacy, America, and Americans, are not the Russian empire, nor the Chinese empire, nor any other left-wing incarnation. We are also ahead of the German republic of the early 20th century… for now.

Remember, perception influences reality. Humans are free agents that are capable of preemptively affecting their surroundings. Some people would deny freewill, but since we are incapable of proving it one way or the other, let’s leave that for the philosophers to ponder.

My Method of Thought Control; or an innovative program guaranteed to produce a final solution. The earth is warming, because too many people are using too much carbon fuels, either from fossil or farm/natural sources. Is saving the Earth your goal? If less people and non-use by people of carbon is your goal, we’ll allow you to be a martyr of selfless “Sacrifice for Gaia.” You’ll be strangled on a Mayan Pyramid and your body cast into a pit with the millions of other Gaia worshipers to be covered with concrete so that any carbon residue from your decomposition will not harm Gaia’s Earth. All of your energy consuming apparatuses will be crushed in a separate pile. Boreas, God of the North Wind and Patron Protector of Polar Bears, will repeat your name yearly for all eternity,
As Pogo learned: you met the enemy and he was you.

This way, we both win; you and your concerned fellow-travelers die for your beliefs and reduce the carbon footprint on Gaia’s Earth, while I and a few others live on in a world without the excesses from your additional carbon footprint.

Praise Gaia from whom our blessings flow.
Praise Gaia with your sacrificial glow.
Thank you, Gaia for making us care.
Thank you, Gaia for the polar bear.

yadda, yadda, yadda… I’m interested in nice big p/u, preferably V8. Anyone know off the top of their head when Ford, GM and Dodge started putting computers in their trucks? I want one prior to that point. If it can’t be fixed with tools from Sears, I don’t want it.

Put that in yer hooka and smoke it, greenies.

  4. Richmedia says:

@PB: if it has EFI, fuel injection of most any flavor, it most likely has a computer module. I’m thinking you want to look at pre-92 models.

  5. Igor says:

PB, smog control started in ’68 or thereabouts, the fuel computers didn’t start until about ’85 in the trucks… depends on the model/make.
