Eco-Hypocrite Of The Day

I know the president requires security, so maybe he should find someone else to lecture us all about being green seeing how he’s not setting a good example.

Obama is expected to discuss climate change and a common US-Europe approach to it when he takes part in a US-European Union (EU) summit after the NATO meeting on Saturday. But in the meantime, the Portuguese capital is being treated to a jarring dichotomy: the polluting “leader of the free world,” on one hand, lumbering across town in the Beast with a phalanx of black Secret Service vehicles and Portuguese police motorcycles in tow; and the Europeans zipping around in smart electric vehicles, on the other.

Don’t hold your breath for an explanation.

Their actions reveal their true nature and confirm the illegitimacy of their policies.

If only they would acknowledge what they know, don’t know, are incapable of knowing. While they would certainly lose many of their deluded followers, they would at least maintain an appearance of preserving their dignity.

I still wonder. Do the corrupt seek power, does power corrupt, or both? Maybe some individuals are selected and others are merely vulnerable.

Hyprocracy needs no explanation, Bob. It’s The One’s middle name. That’s what “Hussein” means in Arabic…

    Igor

    n.n, I don’t know what I don’t know, although I *do* know what I know – which ain’t much… As for my incapability of not knowing what I don’t know… well, I dunno! ;P

  3. n.n says:

    Igor, everyone is a comedian.

  4. The Machine says:

Hey, The One’s tailpipe don’t pollute and his shit don’t stink neither.

  5. Tallyman says:

The Messiah has scorned the petty gestures of those other lesser leaders to enviro-correctness by his own grandiose triumphant parade of elephantine vehicles, while Verdi’s, “Marcha triunfal da ópera ‘Aida’,” played inside his Beast of Burden .
