How much more cutting edge does Hollywood need to get for viewers?
TV watchdog group the Parents Television Council is stirring things up this morning with its outrage over the racy photo shoot of the stars from Fox’s Glee in the upcoming issue of GQ, which it called a “near-pornographic display.” The True Blood stars’ recent bloody nude Rolling Stone cover that still haunts me.
The only upside is that there’s not too much further to go.

Remember that today’s progressive will be tomorrow’s conservative. Each generation will be required to up the ante, if they hope to be considered fresh and innovative. On the bright side, the generational rebels with a cause and without a clue, are periodically “progressive”, which means that in the end, the women will be wearing burqas, and the men will be clubbing their dates into submission (or kidnapping them, as the case may warrant).
Ah, the morons of humanity. They are generational in the true progressive fashion. At this rate, many of the people who are alive today, will have the opportunity to witness these rebels’ sane moment on the flip side. But be vigilant, for while these moments are cyclical, they are short-lived.
That reminds me of a song (paraphrasing)… Who wants to be sane forever?
