Ya think this could happen here, given who’s currently in control (and broke)…?

The UK’s tax collection agency is putting forth a proposal that all employers send employee paychecks to the government, after which the government would deduct what it deems as the appropriate tax and pay the employees by bank transfer.

Knowing how liberals here love to cite what happens elsewhere as precedent, I think it a good idea we keep an eye on this one.

Bob, I’m curious if Bozell will make a video with his message he delivered recently, about declaring war on the liberal media? Unfortunately I missed his live address, and wanted to see it.

WOW I bet the Obama would love this power… lets see the government takes it cut… then the bank will take its cut for my mortage and give me enough to pay the bank fees and then nothing else so I go overdrawn on the next check and I end up with nothing… how do I feed myself let alone keep the power on? Oh yeah I need a governement program for that to sell my soul to for food and bills, stupid me thinking I can take care of myself.

I bet they can’t wait for their “refund”. It will be like receiving a gift from government. It is, after all, their economy, right? I wonder what else they believe to be theirs.

  4. girzwald says:

Its so sickening how government always thinks its their money. And they are so generous to give us “credits” or “breaks” or “refunds”

Hey assholes. I got an idea, why don’t you let me keep MY money?

  5. Nicolas says:

on another note, Bob, I saw a black woman asking a question to Obama, at a recent CNBC town hall, that they aired a clip of on “Special Report with Bret Baier”, and mention that she was “tired” or “exhausted” (whichever word it was) of defending “change” that she voted for. that reminded me of how you mentioned that you got tired of defending Clinton and feeling sorry for him, and later you became a Republican. maybe that’ll happen for this woman??

  6. thekingtut says:

Don’t bet on it Nicolas. The woman works for the government. Now as for the story from the UK… if these people don’t fight this tooth and nail, then they have become slaves of their own free will, and will deserve every bad thing that happens to them.

I tell you what, the Gubmint tries something like this in the US, it’s pitchfork and torch time!

Don’t doubt they (liberal Democrats) are watching… But, they might try to “nationalize” private pension plans first… VIGILANCE!

  9. Katsy says:

This doesn’t seem much different in principle from our current government withholding.
