Liberals should stick to “Hey hey, ho ho”…

That $1.00 that the husband of Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA) paid for Newsweek? Most overpriced business transaction evaaaah… I actually double-checked to make sure it wasn’t a parody; and at least according to Newsweek’s fellow JournoListas at the Politico, it’s legit.
I guess Newsweek told us (and the snarky title is kinda spot on).

First Newsweek cover I’ve ever seen that I can agree with, though.
Too bad it is obviously an attempt to demonize the majority of Americans, but as usual with the left, this one will backfire in their faces as well, I think.
After all, many will go away with just the cover etched in their memory banks, eh?
“Newsweek Mocks Us (And Unintentionally Obama)”
For, according to Newsweek, among the things Obama is NOT is … President.
I also have my doubts that The Won really is the President; I suspect that we don’t legally have one.
This reminds me of the NPR special, “Learn To Speak Tea Bag.”
Whose fault is it that they cannot distinguish between voluntary and involuntary exploitation?
Whose fault is it that they cannot distinguish between measured liberty and progressive totalitarianism?
Whose fault is it that they rely on selective science?
Whose fault is it that they exploit women for profit?
Whose fault is it that they advocate to normalize the destruction of emergent human life, and other deviant behaviors?
Whose fault is it that they denigrate individual dignity?
Whose fault is it that they pervert the language by which we communicate?
At this rate, the conversation will be short and nonsensical.
Of course, submission is a choice, and supporters will enjoy a transient elevated status awarded by their masters. It is the dream of mortal gods and their servants, the selfish and submissive. Life is good when you demand respect and offer none in return. This system of “governance” has a long and sordid history among the left-wing lunatics of this world.
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
It’s time to leave la-la land, and recognize that instant gratification is fantasy and corrupt. There is a place for members of society to assist each other as we occasionally falter (ideally through voluntary exploitation). There is no place for members of society to support those individuals who choose to fail or who have the temerity of resurrecting the old systems.
Oh, one more thing, no more slush funds… I mean, no more “redistributive change.”
It’s a shame that a highly acclaimed publication such as “Newsweek” would attempt to deceive their audience. How low can they go? This is reality, Newsweek, put your semantic games away.
re: NPR
NPR is the acronym for the publicly subsidized National Public Radio.
THE MAKING OF A … PRESIDENT*
* who isn’t actually any of these things
Newsweek Mocks Us (And Unintentionally Obama)
Huh, I missed that.
many will go away with just the cover etched in their memory banks
I think you’re right, The Machine. It’s not nearly as obvious as NPR’s ““Learn To Speak Tea Bag.”
