An Indianapolis deacon could soon face charges accused of setting up a fight to see how a white police officer would respond to two African-American men fighting. During that incident, the officer was hurt before organizers put a stop to the demonstration.
Obviously (aside from the race-baiting element) we have some rather stupid individuals here.

The people who really dislike Obama are, by and large, people who have believed all along that the problem with him is not essentially racial. They don’t see him as a stand-in for “black politician.” And they can list other black candidates they would happily vote for.
As for those who voted for Obama and now are becoming disillusioned: obviously race didn’t prevent them from voting for him in the first place, and their disillusionment is a result of what he’s done, not because they suddenly noticed his race.
I think the worry that Obama has scared people away from voting for ANY black candidate for office is very exaggerated.
I used to think that people like this made the rest of us look bad. I have come to realize that they make themselves look that way. Anyone who tries to stereotype me because of someone like this, well, their opinon doesn’t count anyway. I will not give them the power over me to make me feel bad about myself.

Black Democrats are the permanently damaged good. I don’t recall any black conservatives calling fellow citizens crackers or Uncle Toms.
@bellefleur – the problem does not lie with Bob. As a black man I have witnessed the stereotyping that is part and parcel of life in this country and that is where the problem lies, and what I’m sure Bob was addressing.
Mark my words, after the congress gets done with the investigation of the two black idiots, after another two years of Obama’s shenanigans, the people of this nation are not going to be able to elect a black man to the office of dog catcher. This is because of the blanket stereotyping that we as African Americans know all too well.

Bob, why would you assume that one or three stupid cretins would put any kind of light on “black people”? Would you look at Julian Assange and say he puts a bad light on white people? I mean, he’s about as white as it gets.

A black cop’s reaction would likely have been no different, if not even more heavy handed.
On the other hand, we have perfectly good “hate crime” laws which are going to waste. The DOJ should either apply or petition to repeal them.
This really puts deviants in a bad light. Let’s call the deacon, and his friends, criminals, incarcerate them, and move on with our lives. Hopefully such a disincentive will be sufficient to prevent copycats. If not, then society will have to reprimand them as well. We cannot afford to have brats running free and wild.
Speaking of brats, someone should notify their parents. These “children” need to be reminded of civil behavior and respect for other people.
The deacon, and his friends, represent the morons of humanity, and will always be present in our world. On the bright side, the other people interviewed suggest that there is hope for racial harmony.

I’m not that kind of person. I’d sooner ask a trooper for a bandaid for a small cut, like I did in Sacramento once at the Capital building, than “punk” law enforncement.

No, it’s all over Indianapolis, however the Fox affiliate was the only to identify the race of the cops and actors, thus the motivation behind the stunt.
