Should Arizona secede?
And if Arizona did secede, how many other states would want to follow?

Judicial activism is pushing America to the breaking point. This week, a federal judge blocked key provisions of Arizona’s immigration law, thwarting the will of the people. The decision was ominous and will reverberate for years to come.

Considering how Arizona’s been demonized by the president, progressive activists, celebrities and professional athletes, and their media; boycotted by other states and cities; are being reimbursed minimally by the federal government for the costs associated with illegal immigration and the laws the fail to enforce; who could blame them?

Think about it: who would want to live in a state where illegal aliens weren’t wanted…?

I’d rather “unofficially” tell all the law-enforcement people to go ahead and ask people that they stop about their immigration status anyway. Basically, telling the Federal (mis)Judge to go pound sand.

And, yes, Federal Judges *can* be removed from office. I leave it up to the Student for the proof…

From the Constitution of the United States Article 3 clause 2:

In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be a party, the supreme court shall have original jurisdiction.

The question (again) remains: do these people know the law or are they intentionally giving it the finger?

  4. palolojo says:

They are intentionally giving it the finger. Just like they have intentionally given the American people the finger with their agenda. They want as much as possible written down in law because they believe the Republicans won’t have enough control after the elections to overturn all this shit or they won’t have enough balls to do it.

As this is an open thread – I would like to add my $0.02 to the Brietbart comments from the radio program Bob had posted earlier:

At the end of the program, the radio host called for Michael Steele to “uninvite” Andrew Breitbart from an upcoming RNC meeting because of the Sherrod video.

I disagree with that because Breitbart -even though may or may not have intentionally “omitted” the full video – did not fire Sherrod. That came from her superiors who did not conduct a full investigation into the matter before firing her. At my company, an employee is usually suspended pending investigation which allows time for a review of the facts before action is taken. If she is to sue anyone, it should be the USDA who acted hastily without reviewing all the facts.

Breitbart should still be allowed to attend the RNC meeting.

  6. The Machine says:

    Sherrod was not fired.

She was asked to resign over the telephone and then she did so.

    Question:

If you knew you were 100% in the right and asked to resign, would you quickly do so?

There must be a rather large set of skeletons in somebody’s closet…

  7. Nicolas says:

Bob, I’m curious if conditions have permitted you to to plan a radio spot lately?

  8. Bob says:

It’s purely a time thing and I have very little of it to recharge as it is.
