Black Conservatives Condemn Mary Frances Berry’s Cynical Comments on Progressive Racial Politics
by Bob Parks
In an interview with Politico, Mary Frances Berry — a former chairman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights last reappointed by President Bill Clinton — called the progressive tactic of trying to smear the tea party movement as racist an “effective strategy” that she chose not to denounce.
Berry’s cynical remarks are drawing rebukes for members of the Project 21 black leadership network.

fantastic! glad there is a solidarity in Project 21 that condemns this arrogantly ignorant woman
also..
“Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness”
sounds like a pre-meditated tactic
screw progressives…
No more racist than any other Republican? Well, at least she’s a Democrat servant knows who signs her paychecks.
O, come on, guys! Don’t act like “liberals.”
To give you an example of what she may be doing …
The Bible describes horrendous and immoral behaviour. But, it doesn’t always explicitly condemn the behavior it’s describing.
Now, when those intentionally stupid pretend-atheists point to such Biblical passages and try to claim that the Bible (or God, or Christianity) approves of such, does any serious man give a bit a credence to the stupid assertion of the God-haters? No.
So, until more in known about the context from which the quote comes and about what she meant by it, please recognize that she may be delivering a strong criticism of recent “liberal” actions.
