Bonehead Of The Day

Save this link for future finger-pointing.

When I first heard on Thursday that Senate Democrats were abandoning the effort to pass an energy/climate bill that would begin to cap greenhouse gases that cause global warming and promote renewable energy that could diminish our addiction to oil, I remembered something that Joe Romm, the climateprogress.org blogger, once said: The best thing about improvements in health care is that all the climate-change deniers are now going to live long enough to see how wrong they were.
Thomas L. Friedman, New York Times

I remember watching actor Ted Danson warn us all if we didn’t stop polluting the oceans, we’d all be dead in ten years from a lack of drinking water. He said that around 1989 and we’ve all lived long enough to see how wrong he was.

We were all told how global warming was going to create more Katrina-like storms we’ve all lived long enough to see how wrong meteorologists were. Lot’s of climate-related doom-and-gloomers made worthless, fear-based predictions and we’ve all lived long enough to see how wrong they were.

The only difference is that climate alarmists will keep on scaring little kids and impressionable college students and never admit how wrong THEY were… ever.

Healthcare is going to make me live a long time? I’m at the age where by the time I’m old, if they don’t repeal it, I’ll be the one they’ll be denying essential services to because the cost/benefits analysis will be unfavorable.

This just has to be ridiculous political hyperbole because, well, it’s coming from Thomas Friedman. No one could actually believe this crap, right?

And mentioning one of the top nit-wits in the enviro-Nazi movement like Joe Romm just goes to prove my point…

Well I have lived long enough. In the 70′s these people were saying we are heading for a global cooling, that we would all be colder in 20 to 30 years. Well it is 20 to 30 years later and now we are heading for global warming. Oh wait no it is now global climate change. That is so they can switch between cooling and warming at a drop of a hat. And the lemmings will follow along.
Did anyone say Big Brother lately? What was it from the book, double speak?

    Anyone remember Malthus?

Friedman, Krugman, you name ‘em; at the NYT, they’re all nuts.
I just can’t figure why subscriptions and ad revenue are declining . . . . let’s see if we can piece this mystery together.

Real journalism may not be dead, but it’s on life support.

RockThisTown, Real Journalism *is* indeed dead, what you are watching is the corpse still twitching. Zombies, y’know.
