Well, we now know Obama’s strategy.

He will not secure the border (hoping for more death and violence) until he gets his “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” passed.

In the same way, he will continue to use the Coast Guard, EPA, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and every other federal organization he can think of to block any efforts of cleanup until he has Cap and Trade passed. He is also going to get the complete drilling ban he wanted all along. And he will now have the excuse to ban fishing in federal waters that he was trying to sneak through several months ago.

But now for our favorite game of Guess the Party Affiliation!

Antonio Villaraigosa free tickets are worth $50,000 to $100,000. Full list here of 80 free events; corruption laws ignored

The Cartels are the main problem, period. People used to jump the border on their own, but now, Cartels control the best routes and either own the coyotes or get a kickback from them. There was a time when the AZ/MX border was much more peaceful, when people would come across w/o much issue. But now, it has become like a cattle drive, with people getting run like like a herd of angus.

“Only stiff penalties for hiring illegals and a show of military force is going to stop the Cartels.

“Why boycotts about Arizona immigration law are stalling”
Most people support what AZ is doing. It’s just the condescending elites and fringe groups that do this crap.

“Harris: Obama knew of Blagojevich plot”
They’ve known each other for along time and travel some of the same lines. Our great MSM just sat on the connection untill the dam started leaking and they were forced to bring it up. It is literally like a political mafia in Chi-town.

“Friend defends Gore sex assault accuser”
If she’s lying, she spent alot of time on the details.
I think the NATIONAL ENQUIRER has now passed alot of MSM publications in the credibility dpt. For God’s sake, the local Portland rag sat on this. If the culprit is a liberal, we have to get it from FOX, DRUDGE, BREITBART, or NATIONAL ENQUIRER.
What a joke the MSM has become. They hate the bloggers because they have been exposed for the frauds they are.

“Obama will skip next month’s NAACP convention”
That would be a slap in the face. I also think he will reconsider.
However, if he really tries to pass a blanket amnesty, he will have alot of explaining to do to the black community when the job market gets even more flooded with cheap labor.

    “Going After the Judge”
Right along the themes of Bob’s “Guess the party affliation” posts.

“Juno star Jason Bateman booed after jumping the queue for an iPhone 4″
Celebrity backlash, from Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, Janneane Garofaolo, to this idiot is building. Between their words and stupid actions, the disconnect is unreal, especially in the times that we live in. Say what you want about The Rat Pack, but they were patriots and standup guys, regardless of party affliation. A far cry from these human embarassments. Just totally detached from reality.

“Calif. lawmakers begin push to boycott Arizona”
Hey, how about fixing your own mess? Dems love to fix the problems of others while letting their own houses fall apart.

Well, I can almost guarantee you will be posting it then.

  4. Brandon says:

Well, to Jason Bateman’s credit (according to the article) he was waiting in line with everyone else until an employee of the store spotted him and escorted him inside, and upon exiting, hung his head in embarrassment.

  5. Uncle Rick says:

    “Michael Jackson . . .”

Roadrunner’s home page shows a grown man (well, he’s probably in his 20s) bawling at a memorial.

I won’t speak ill of the dead, but this is ridiculous. I didn’t cry when Bobby Darren died, and he was not only a stunning performer and good actor, he was a ‘real’ person. I’ll never forget hearing a CA DJ tell about when he had a wee-hours radio gig and Bobby just showed up at the studio and spent a couple of hours talking with him on the air. Did MJ ever do that? For all his undeniable talent, he was a certifiable weirdo who could only be himself (whoever that was) when he was on stage. (This isn’t speaking ill; it’s just declaring what everyone knows anyway.)

Hilarious! Loved the “Haiku” at the end of the interview:

    Get your hands off me!
Why do you touch my buttocks?
    Mother Earth cries “Rape!”

  7. n.n says:

    to Jason Bateman’s credit

I agree. It is the store’s prerogative to conduct business as it wills. If the market disagrees with their action, then they will be penalized for any perceived misconduct.

Palin settles ethics complaint on legal defense fund

an independent investigator, whom today announced the conclusion that the legal defense fund violated ethics regulations in two points

the fund used the word “official,” which the investigator concluded gave the impression that Palin was using her office to raise funds

one of the trustees was a sitting member of the Board of Agriculture and Conservation (appointed by Palin) and on the Creamery Corporation Board, which is administered by the BAC

The settlement acknowledges that “Palin has fully cooperated with the investigation,” and it makes a more important point. The investigator agreed that Palin consulted “no less than three law firms” in establishing the legality of the trust before ever launching it.

The result of liberals’ latest attack on Palin. Their headlines scream bloody murder; but, the reality is that she acted in good faith, and the funds were offered by willing donors. Her actions to comply with the investigation, and the ruling, speak well of her integrity.

The left-wing, and pedantic “conservative” pretenders, are desperate. It can mean only one thing, that she does, in fact, pose a greater threat to their various agendas, than they would prefer people to know.

This would all be very amusing, if it were not such a huge waste of time and resources. Not to mention a meaningless distraction from the critical issues facing all of us. On the other hand, it does provide further opportunity for some people to reveal their true nature. The liberals/progressives are the gift which keeps on giving. You would think lessons from history would be sufficient to isolate and marginalize their regressive ideology. I guess repackaging the old systems, and usurping the labels of “liberal” and “progressive”, was sufficient to deceive the well-intentioned.

Identity Theft Investigation Leads to Raid of Sanitation Business

Search warrants were served after a six month investigation based on anonymous tips from Parks & Sons employees.

It is likely that the “jobs which Americans will not do” will be filled by Americans within days, if not hours. That has been the result following similar actions to enforce the law. There is precedent for such optimism, where reducing the illegal alien workforce, as well as the value-added bonuses of reducing incidents of murder and rape, has lead to real “created and saved” jobs. Not to mention the savings on illegally obtained social benefits.

“I have six kids! So what’s gonna happen now?” said Maria Ruiz, the wife of a Parks & Sons employee who was taken in by deputies

All of which are likely to be fraudulent “citizens” of the USA. Isn’t that right, advocates for the destruction of emergent human life?

  10. n.n says:

re: Identity Theft Investigation Leads to Raid …

The full quote from Maria Ruiz:

“They’re coming here to arrest people that are here working.. how come he doesn’t go to the border and or to somewhere to arrest criminals? People that are on the streets. I have six kids! So what’s gonna happen now?” said Maria Ruiz, the wife of a Parks & Sons employee who was taken in by deputies.

She doesn’t believe in the rule of law, and she does believe in its selective application. That is quite telling about her character, or rather the lack thereof.

European Court Rules Gay Marriage Not a Universal Human Right

There is a very insightful comment from the page:

Wow, some common sense from Europe. How refreshing! Marriage restrictions are built into the fabric of every society. First cousins cannot marry in most Western nations because of the potential danger to their offspring. Babies and their welfare should always be uppermost in any rulings about marriage. Two men can never have a baby together; likewise two women. Babies must be conceived jointly and they have an inborn need to grow up in two-gender homes. Heterosexuals are living more and more selfishly, divorcing at any provocation regardless of the damage to children, so gays might believe they could do just as well. But the law should uphold the best case scenario for kids, and not just ignore the biological and psychological evidence.
    – Laura Hornbeck

While homosexuals as individuals should not be discriminated, their deviant behavior should not be normalized. At home, it is their right to conduct their affairs with consenting adults, as they will; but, in society at large, the consequences to the human species of normalizing a deviant behavior cannot be summarily dismissed.

Isn’t that right, supporters of evolution? How do you reconcile the normalizing of a deviant behavior and the sustained viability of the human species? What is the best compromise when conducting a fundamental experiment in corrupting the natural order?

Foetus ‘cannot feel pain before 24 weeks’

Nerve endings in the brain are not sufficiently formed to enable pain to be felt before 24 weeks, according to the report by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which had been commissioned by the Department of Health

They cannot define consciousness, and yet they presume to define pain. Well, as in other matters of speculation, we should probably err on the side of destroying emergent human life. Was this the goal of the sexual revolution, or merely a value-added bonus for the selfish? Do the rationalizers, the wannabe mortal gods, only advocate for the promotion of destructive behaviors?

The true spirit of science is dead. It has been subverted by opportunistic profiteers, supported by their followers of selective science. When did matters of philosophy become recognized as science?

  13. n.n says:

re: destruction of emergent human life

Think of the children! You do have a choice, several choices, before and after conception.

  14. Nicolas says:

totally rad that you posted the “Thriller” video. nice. That was always a fun song. sucks today is the anniversary of his death. I believe they’re bringing back another short film of his, at Disneyland, that I saw as a kid, called “Captain Eo” (spelling?) for that very reason

“The family has always lacked that ‘class act’ thing”

speaking of “class act”, remember when Bob Hope sadly passed during Bush’s tenure? Bush had class to take a minute, exactly where he was, just getting off a helicopter (where it was, I don’t remember), and said a few words about that American icon. The Kenyan couldn’t POSSIBLY have been bothered to say a few words about Michael.
    real classy..

speaking of his “money trail” however, I believe I heard his estate has brought in a billion dollars since his death. not surprised for merchandise regarding everything michael, considering the auctions!

and people protesting the stupid boycott

“I’m working on a video. You see these sensational headlines, yet no pictures (unlike Katrina coverage)…”

ah, you’ve peaked my interest already. I think it’s safe to say, if you mention that you’re “working on a video”, to me, it’s the next coolest thing

Obama and Dems heading for electoral disaster

if they said in Newt Gingrich’s Ronald Reagan documentary that Reagan said he “would’ve rather gotten 80% of what he wanted than to go over the cliff with his flag flying”, I guess that makes Obama the latter of Reagan’s sentiment (that Obama WOULD go over the cliff with his flag flying)

“A crisis for political gain takes awhile to nourish”

I’m JUST picking that concept up, so thank you for pointing it out. Thanks to Katrina, how it was dealt with and responded to by the media, and the things you point out these days about the Gulf Spill, it really helps me compare and contrast disasters

“MoveOn must be really pissed Obama picked General Betray-Us”

I always hated how the left made fun of his last name..that was fucking bullshit humor. Not fucking COOL

“Expected celebrity preferential treatment is an L.A. thing”

ahhhhh..so THAT’S what it was about. “do you know who I am?” comes to mind..

“How does it feel, Mr. President?”
