Let’s see if we have this right. Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law will result in more abuse of women and children. Yeah, that’s the ticket…

A national organization called Legal Momentum has asked a federal court to block implementation of Arizona’s SB 1070 because they feel that immigrant women will be afraid to report abuse for fear of being deported.
The “immigration enforcement above all else” model has a particularly brutal impact on immigrant women. Immigrant women often confront an impossible choice: do they risk deportation to report a crime? Or, do they endure abuse and exploitation at the hands of violent partners or opportunistic employers, with sometimes fatal results, in order to stay with their children, and near the only support networks they know?
This is, of course, a complete fabrication. SB 1070 would not affect a women going into a police station to report abuse.
Fear is usually the backed-into-the-corner, last gasp strategy of progressives. Now, let’s see if it works this time.

Harry Reid said rising unemployment leads to increased violence against women:

Fearmongers.
These pro-illegal schmucks will latch onto anything to progress their immoral cause, won’t they?
Next it will be “the children”…
Unless they committed a crime, then the women should not be concerned about their illegal alien status.
in order to stay with their children
Deport the mothers and children, then this will no longer be an issue. Unless the selective application of law is their goal, then all rights are subject to dismissal or contention. If we follow this path to its logical conclusion, then anarchy will be next, followed by tyranny to reinstate order.
Of all their agendas, their support for the unequal application of law poses by far the greatest threat to civilized society and individual rights.
what’s interesting is the graphic isn’t even OF a hispanic woman, especially if the issue CONCERNED hispanic women..who are they kidding?
Nicolas:
Not all illegal aliens are Hispanic. In fact, while most are from Central and South America, there are many more who are from Africa, Asia, and Europe. In order to preserve the rule of law, and to afford every individual equal treatment, then all illegal alien invaders must be held accountable for their transgression and deported. The path to amnesty leads them to their nations of origin and places them behind other people who are awaiting legal immigration to America.
Why is that advocates of illegal alien invaders promote the rights of some immigrants over others, while wholly ignoring the rights of citizens and legal residents?
I rather suspect that AZ will be an equal opportunity deporter.
Illegal immigrants weren’t willing to to come forward even before the Arizona law existed. For example, my ex-girlfriend’s family owns a small business. A competing business hires illegal immigrants and makes them work extra hours without paying them overtime. What are the illegal immigrants going to do, call the police who will ask them if they have their green cards and send them back to Mexico? Everyone looses except the owner who saves thousands on labor by cheating his employees out of their pay.
