Back in 1999 it was Dennis Prager who told me on the air that I should get into talk radio. While taking a different route, he was one of my initial inspirations.

Is this mosque going to be a symbol of Muslim condemnation of the 9/11 terror act or a symbol of radical Islamic triumph?

being on my phone, I can’t see the video. going to guess it’s in regard to the ground zero mosque. if that’s the case, in my opinion, sadly the latter, thanks to PC

couple of random questions from me today, Bob – What are some of the latest things going on at the MRC, what are some the discussions going around?

also, I remember when the rampant Arizona boycott began, and some boycotted the Arizona brand tea, which isn’t even MADE IN Arizona, but NYC no less. I’m curious if another US location namesake, in this case the fantastic restaurant Boston Market, is it actually FROM Boston, Mass? do you know?

Heavy snowfall in Salt Lake City on May 24, 2010. And it’s cold, too.

Father Winter has overstayed his welcome. The natives are laughing, while bitterly clinging to their heaters.

There must be some way to stop Canada from blowing their cold air to us, and force Mexico to share their heat. It really is selfish of Mexico, and other nations of Central and South America, to hoard that valuable natural resource.

Oh, and if you are an illegal alien invader, and want to drive legally, then come to Utah.

Utah Department of Public Safety: Driver License Division: Positive Identification

If you are an undocumented Immigrant in the United States, you must provide the following documentation to obtain a Driving Privilege Card (DPC) or Learner Permit: …

The land of selective application and rejection of laws. No wonder the “civil rights” businesses are so confused about their mission.

    @Nicholas
Just the usual media bias hunt.
I did today receive an embargoed copy of the new biography of Rush Limbaugh. I passed it on to Tim Graham to review. I’ll post a link to it here soon.

  4. Nicolas says:

speaking of media bias, I think I have you to thank for opening my mind to that aspect, so much for “freedom of the press”, especially considering 2008 and it’s subsequent ongoing aftermath

man, politics can be painful and complicated

    re: Pastor Manning

This guy has courage and the intelligence to follow through. Not only on the Obama issue, but on so much more. He would be a good candidate for USSC, if not President of the USA.

  6. Nicolas says:

ok now that I can get to a laptop here, I definitely agree with the firefighter – the mosque definitely feels like a trojan horse and I imagine it’ll be a pot brewing with anti-western hate at some point, if it actually gets built. I swear this “peace” garbage is slowly infecting the country. Not only do I have a strong disdain for islam as a whole (what religion what make women into 3rd class citizens?), but I hate RADICAL islam as well.

  7. Ilion says:

Well, see, that’s just the thing. Under Islam, there are no citizens, but merely subjects (most of whom are to be treated as objects).

One can perhaps see why “liberals” don’t mind Islam.

The Next Bailout: $165B for Unions

Another solution to put us out of our misery.

Patrick says Obama critics are ‘almost at the level of sedition’

I just don’t think they like us.

I think the Democrats support of Mexico, while condemning Arizona, was not “almost at the level of sedition”, but was an act of sedition. Anyone who supports the selective rejection and application of laws is a criminal at best. He may not know it yet, but Patrick has already made his bed.

“That was a rhetorical flourish,” Patrick said.

Well, as long as there is no accountability, and he is just an individual with authority granted by the people, unlike that afforded to people in the private sector, then he is forgiven, I suppose.

This is time for a well placed quote.

    Resistance is futile.

It wasn’t and is not. We will just keep chipping away at their foundation and eventually they will collapse. Their desperation is extremely obvious as reflected in their own words.

  9. Nicolas says:

    definitely

for any of you “24″ fans out there, a candidate I’m pulling for, Chuck Devore, made a parody of “24″ asking “what would Jack do?” in his latest advertisement

  10. n.n says:

    why “liberals” don’t mind Islam

The end justifies the means. However, the Muslims, especially radical Muslims, are a competing interest to America’s liberals/progressives. The competition between totalitarian regimes is not as civil as that conducted between liberals, even if they do initially use each other in pursuit of fulfilling their agendas.

There can be only one. Such is the price paid by those who seek to control, and fail to deliver unto their supporters.

Professor Soto gives a political speech at the May 2010 Commencement Ceremony for the University of Arizona College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Another member of the bureaucracy who has not read the Arizona law (SB 1070) and who does advocate for sedition. She is merely a member of the biggest special interest group, and who will be eligible — if the Democrats have their way — for a re-stimulus (those supporters don’t come cheap).

Climate Craziness of the Week: Denmark evicting citizens to clear cut forests for wind turbines

Interesting. Neither people, nor nature, do environmentalists enrich. Apparently, as in America, in Denmark the environmentalists are AWOL, or so it would appear. The reality is that they are merely another competing interest.

It must be difficult living in la-la land. Living in a constant state of cognitive dissonance.

n.n Maybe the cool weather is coming from the Antarctic. Here on the west side of Lake Superior it was 75 today, so it had to be about 90 inland. Snow was gone by the end of March but we’re into a drought.

Dennis Prager was truly inspirational on that Palin clip (over an hour long, I watched it all – link on Canada Free Press) all three at the head table really rallied the crowd; I hope it wasn’t a case of preaching to the choir. The conservatives can win if they can stop the infighting, if not, at least we’ll all be komrades.

Dennis Prager really got the crowd going when he suggested that the UN isn’t such a good outfit. It is time to get rid of the UN.

In regards to the mosque, the tin foil hat guys are already speculating that an A bomb will be built into it so they can take out all of New York City.

  14. BRFan says:

I dig Dennis Prager. A bit dry at times. I wish he would focus more on politics and less on his “Ultimate Issues Hour”, “Happiness Hour”, “Male/Female Hour” and I think another one.
The things I like most about him is that he’s not a yeller, unlike Mark Levin (whom I like a lot too), making him very cerebral and wise. He also comes off as humble and modest, unlike Rush, whom I don’t like.

Bob, is this conference available somewhere in its entirety?
    Thanks

  16. Nicolas says:

Bob, just saw the video – holy SHIT is Dennis Prager AMAZING!!

  17. Lou says:

I have listened to Prager for 25 years. Other than my father, no one has had a bigger influence on my life and how I conduct myself. He is far, far more than a political pundit. He talks about issues in life like no one else in the media does. His book on happiness opened my eyes on my own life. HE IS THE MAN!

  18. Nicolas says:

hey do you guys remember Bob posted the animated picture of Obama, Michelle, Hilary, and Biden, driving down the street, seemingly partying in the car? apparently people took that image and made it into a video last year like this. too funny!

  19. n.n says:

Prager is right. I don’t think he is overstating the significance of the choice before us.

I should get into talk radio. While taking a different route

What is important, is that your voice is heard.

America is the great experiment. It is Americans (and others), and not America, who are sabotaging it. America has no equal in uniting people from different places, and affording them an equal opportunity to pursue their dream (the American Dream), not now and not historically.

People who believe that everyone has the same dream, are part of the problem. People who will sacrifice the individual dignity of some for the benefit of others, are part of the problem. People who advocate for the resurrection of progressive involuntary exploitation, are part of the problem. People who advocate for the destruction of emergent human life, are part of the problem. People who advocate for the selective application and rejection of laws, are part of the problem. Everyone else is human, and, hopefully, learn from their mistakes.

  20. Johnny Pee says:

Late to the fight. Thank you for this post. I’m only vaguely familiar with Prager’s writing and don’t have a lot of time to read these days. His point about Iran is especially well made – and embarrassing.

Minor quibble: Prager is right that it wasn’t “peace activists” who liberated Auschwitz. I’m not sure if he meant to imply it, but US forces didn’t liberate Auschwitz, either; it was the Red Army which marched into the death camps in Poland.

I’d rather not see Prager make the same erroneous assumptions about history as Obama did on the campaign trail.
